Weymouth allocated Enviro 400 33707 has received the new ‘Jurassic Coaster’ livery.

National Express West Midlands

Dennis Trident/ALX400s 4323 and 4324 has now been withdrawn from service, both having previously been based at Pensnett depot. It is planned that around another 20 withdrawals will follow, from the 4225-4424 number range, of 2001-03 Dennis Tridents and Volvo B7TLs. The vehicles involved had been covering for newer vehicles undergoing Euro 6 conversions.

Correction to Fleet Report 9th February 2021: Seaford & District 401, which was reported as going on loan to The Big Lemon of Brighton is a Dart SLF not a Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini as we originally reported.

Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire

Vehicles due to be parked up here, following lockdown related service reductions are as follows;

Stagecoach East

Dart SLF 34535 has been stood down from service at Bedford, and is now seeing use as an overflow break room for drivers at Peterborough Queensgate Bus Station.

Stagecoach Manchester

Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery is Enviro 400 19530. This previously carried the unique ‘Manchester Together’ livery, which commemorated the lives lost in the Manchester Arena bombing in May 2017.

Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire

A number of vehicles here have been stood down from service and placed in ‘COVID’ reserve whilst reduced timetables are in place. These are;

  • Birkenhead: Trident/ALX400 18328/365/372; Enviro 300 27255/256/258/260-264; 8.9m Enviro 200s 36314/318/319.

  • Chester: Optare Solo 47710/712/714.

  • Gilmoss: Enviro 400MMC 10817, 11113; Trident/ALX400s 18325/326/442; MAN/Enviro 300 24119/123/124/125/127-136/152/153/170/176; Dart SLF 34793/808-811/820; Optare Solo 47328/620/656/673/675.

  • Preston: Scania/Enviro 400s 15466-474/741/747; Optare Versa 25221; Enviro 300 27892-895/897/901/903; Optare Solo 47129/219-221 and Optare Solo SR 47922/923.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird)

Enviro 400MMC Smart Hybrids 11161-164 have transferred from Macduff to Aberdeen, and 11165-167/169/170 have moved from Macduff to Elgin. Enviro 400 19542 has transferred from Aberdeen to Peterhead with MAN/Enviro 300 22791 being transferred from Macduff to Aberdeen.

Enviro 200 36033 is out of service at Elgin for long term repairs with 36046 transferring from Macduff to Elgin. Paint Float vehicles now back on the main fleet allocation are Volvo B9R 53607 at Peterhead and Optare Solo 47161 at Aberdeen.

Now on hire here and allocated to Macduff is Enviro 200 FM47 from Ferrrymill Motors.

Reduced service levels have seen the following vehicles temporarily taken out of service here;

  • Aberdeen: Volvo B7TL/ALX400 16973-977; Enviro 300 Hybrid 29004/007/008/012-020/022; Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 44024; Optare Solo 47490 and Volvo B9Rs 53606/634-641/644/645.

  • Elgin: Enviro 200 37260; Volvo B9R 53609/610/715; Volvo B11R 54829.

  • Macduff: Volvo B9R 53626/627/632.

  • Peterhead: Enviro 400 19375; Enviro 200 36050; Optare Solo 47214/222/235/486; Volvo B11R 54248-254.

  • Stonehaven: Volvo B9TL/Optare Olympus 16945-948; Volvo B9R 53642/643.

In addition to these, Volvo B12B training coach 53107 has also been temporarily stood down at Peterhead.

Stagecoach South East

Optare Solo 47370 has returned to service at Dover following repairs. Also at Dover, 47369 is now in the Reserve Fleet being replaced in the main fleet by Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 59617 which had been in Reserve here.

As has occurred at other regions of Stagecoach, a number of vehicles have been stood down and place into COVID ‘reserve’ here. These include;

  • Ashford: Scania/Enviro 400 15476-479/481/492; Enviro 200 36873; Optare Solo 47067, 47114/115/117/166/681/682/684/689.

Stagecoach South West

Now repainted here, into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery is Scania/Enviro 400 15805. Similar 15796, along with Optare Solo 48015, are being prepared for repaint.

Transferred from Exeter to Barnstaple are Dennis Trident/ALX400s 18393-395, with similar 18137 moving into the decommissioned fleet at Exeter. Released at Exeter is Scania/Enviro 400 15799, which has moved to Torquay, and Enviro 400s 19002 and 19323 which have moved to Barnstaple and Plymouth respectfully.

Stagecoach West

With their loan period with Stagecoach London coming to an end, Enviro 200s 36376/378/379 have been returned to Swindon depot. They are out of use pending the takeover of a number of routes from Swindon Bus Company.

Enviro 300 27707 has now been repainted at Gloucester into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery, with Cheltenham allocated Scania/Enviro 300 28683 the next vehicle to be repainted here.

Enviro 200 MMC 37620 has been returned from the Plaxton site at Anston, after receiving accident damage repairs, and has returned to service at Cheltenham. Similar 37627 is now at Plaxton, Anston for repairs.

Now returned to Stroud, from Cheltenham, is Enviro 200 36392. Similar 37006 has been returned to the main fleet at Patchway.

Scania/Enviro 400s 15523-532 are currently gradually going through an interior refurbishment, whilst of these 15523/524/525 have lost their 97/98 route branding.

Stagecoach West Scotland

Correcting our previous information, we now understand former Stagecoach Oxfordshire Van Hool Astromegas 50275/276 are intended for this fleet and not Stagecoach East Scotland.

Now returned to service at Ayr following repairs is Scania/Enviro 300 28659. Enviro 400MMCs 10512/520 and Enviro 300s 27211/222 all from Cumbernauld, and Scania/Enviro 300 28705 from Ayr, are all now undergoing long term repairs.

Enviro 300 27513 has transferred from Dumfries to Cumbernauld in exchange for Scania/Enviro 300 28666.

Vehicles sold/scrapped and no longer part of the fleet are Enviro 300 27627, Optare Solo 47733, and Volvo B7R 53325.

Stagecoach Yorkshire

Enviro 200 MMC 37611 has become the latest vehicle here to receive Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery.
