D&G Bus

D&G Bus has now taken over control of Arriva Midland’s Cannock Depot, with the last services operated by Arriva on Saturday 9th January (no Sunday services operate out of Cannock depot). A total of 40 vehicles have been acquired from Arriva for these services, alongside 15 additional vehicles from other companies. 

The following vehicles have been purchased from Arriva Midlands:

  • Dennis Dart SPD: FJ54OTN/P/T/R (former Arriva 2367-70, now D&G 6-9).

  • Dennis Dart SLF: FJ55BWA/B/C/D/E/F/G, FJ55BVT/U (former Arriva 2371-79, now D&G 11-19).

  • Optare Solo: YJ58PKE/O/U/V/X, YK57FHH, YK57FHJ, YJ58PKD (former Arriva 2400/04-07/96/97/99, now D&G 175-182).

  • Optare Solo SR: YJ58CCN, YJ09MLL/N/O/V (former Arriva 2510/13-16, now D&G 162/163/166-168).

  • VDL SB200/Wright Commander: FJ06ZTE/F/G/H/K/L/M/N (former Arriva 3719-26, now D&G 183-190).

  • Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban: FJ58HYP/R/S/T/U/V/W/X (former Arriva 3906-13, now D&G 191-198).

  • DAF SB120/Wright Cadet: LF02PMO (former Arriva 2746, now D&G 95).

  • DAF SB200 / Wright Commander: FD52GGP/U/V (former Arriva 3702-04, now D&G 96-98).

The Following buses have been acquired from other bus companies;

  • YX65RWK/L - ex Whitelaws, numbered 1 and 2.


Alexander Dennis Enviro 200:

  • MM13OCH - ex Jim Stones, numbered 22.

  • MX62ARF - ex Ensign 715, numbered 23.

  • YN62AOH - ex Enisgn 714, numbered 24.

  • YX11CTV - ex Centrebus 581, numbered 99.

    Optare Solo:

  • MX08DHM - ex Centrebus 310, numbered 147.

  • MX08DGE - ex Centrebus 380, numbered 148.

    Wright Streetlite DF:

  • SN64CVP - ex Tower Transit WV46110, numbered 62.

  • SN64CVO - ex Tower Transit WV46109, numbered 63.

  • SN64CVM - ex Tower Transit WV46108, numbered 64.

  • MX62AWU - ex Compass Bus 2101, numbered 65.

  • MX62AWZ - ex Compass Bus 2102, numbered 66.

  • MK63WZX - ex Compass Bus 2103, numbered 67.

    Scania L94UB / Wright Solar:

  • FN04HTC - ex High Peak 697, numbered 199.

    The former Arriva vehicles remain in Arriva livery, and the 2 Enviro 200 MMCs are white. It is believed that all the other vehicles from other operators are in Chaserider livery, which is the new brand covering Cannock services.

East Yorkshire

MCV Evoseti 802 is currently being prepared for repaint into Eastrider X7 livery not similar 801 as previously reported.

Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire

Scania/Enviro 400 15533 has, as planned, transferred to this fleet from Stagecoach Oxfordshire. It is at Carlisle depot, where it will be repainted out of its ‘Stagecoach Gold’ before moving to its new home at Lillyhall (West Cumbria) depot.

Stagecoach East

Now allocated to Peterborough depot is former Stagecoach Norfolk ADL Enviro 400 10055, where it entered traffic on Saturday 9th January. It has transferred from Bedford, swapping with similar 19704 which has moved from Peterborough to Bedford.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Another MAN/ALX300 has been moved from storage here, with 22379 moving from Scunthorpe to Hull (where it joins similar 22415). The company currently have 14 MAN/ALX300s on their books, with 12 stored at Scunthorpe (22359/360/363-365/380-385/414). All are awaiting disposal.

Latest repaint reported here is MAN/Enviro 300 22777, which now carries ‘Local’ livery.

Further additions made to our repaint post are MAN/Enviro 300 22778, and MAN/Enviro 200s 39676/677, which gained ‘Local’ livery during Summer 2020.

An additional repaint, which took place last year, and not previously reported by ourselves is Enviro 27694. It has been added to our repaint post from last week.
