Thank you once again to all our readers and contributors. We now receive regular information from a number of sources for most Stagecoach divisions, National Express West Midlands, and Wellglade Group, along with a number of smaller and independent operators in the south. However, we are always looking to expand our coverage, especially as the more we receive the more we post!

East Yorkshire

Now undergoing conversion for the training fleet, are Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urbans 343 and 344.

With half of the six ‘EastRider’ Volvo B5TL/MCV Evosetis now in traffic (798-800), 802 is now undergoing preparation for its return to service, whilst 801 and 803 are now in the paintshop at Hull Anlaby Road depot.

Megabus

Volvo B11Rs 54201/202 are understood to have been sent to Stagecoach Manchester’s Wigan depot for storage.

Oxford Bus Company

Now returned from repaint are Wright Streetdecks 663 and 664.

Stagecoach East

Vehicles reported by the company as stood down due to service reductions are,

  • Bedford: Enviro 400 19705; Enviro 300 27523; Dart SLF 34537/538/830; Enviro 200 36012/041/042/060/061/063-065; Volvo B11R 54301/303/305/308/311-313/318.

  • Cambridge: Scania Omnicity 15074/075/078/081/083/085/087/089/090/092/220; Scania/Enviro 400 15461/464/637; Enviro 400 19567/568/574/577/580/584/588.

  • Fenstanton: Volvo B8L/Enviro 400XLB 13901-911; Enviro 200 37227/229.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Lincoln allocated Enviro 200 36455 is the latest repaint here, into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery.

Currently on loan at Scunthorpe, from Gainsborough, is Trident/ALX400 17719. Whilst Dart SLF 34850, also from Gainsborough is currently parked up at Scunthorpe depot.

Recently repainted Dart SLF 35149 is pictured in Grimsby on 11th February 2021. Working the Interconnect 53 from Lincoln, it was making a rare appearance in its original home town. The editor recalls these being brand new, and it certainly feels mad…

Stagecoach East Scotland

Transferred out of this fleet to Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands) are Volvo B12B 53108; Volvo B7Rs 53254/255/275/276/304/305; Volvo B11Rs 54362/363 and Volvo B13Rs 54102/103/118/119.

Due to move to HJS in Germany for experimental modifications is Volvo B13R 54145.

Recent changes have seen Volvo B8/Plaxton coaches 54512-514 transfer from Dunfermline to Aberhill, whilst Volvo B13Rs 54115/116 have transferred from Aberhill to the Rennies fleet and similar 54143/144 from Aberhill to Glenrothes.

Enviro 400s 19057/066/067 have transferred from the Rennies fleet to Aberhill with Enviro 200MMCs 26016/017 moving from Aberhill to Dunfermline. Volvo B9Rs 53701 from Dunfermline and 53717 from Glenrothes have moved to the Rennies fleet with 53718/719 from Aberhill and 53720 from Glenrothes moving to Blairgowrie.

Optare Versas 25204/233 from St Andrews and 25210 from Glenrothes are now in the Reserve Fleet here, along with Volvo B13R 54104/105 at Glenrothes and 54113/114 at Aberhill.

Stagecoach Manchester

Enviro 400 19271 has transferred from Ashton to the Reserve Fleet here, whilst 19264 is a transfer from Hyde Road to Stockport. Further Enviro 400 Hybrids now in the Magicbus fleet are 12242 at Sharston and 12249/250/252/253 at Hyde Road.

Reserve Fleet Enviro 400 19031 is understood to be at Ensign Bus for seat belt fitment and then will then transfer to Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands).

Another repaint here into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery is Enviro 400 19286.

Vehicles currently stood down as a result of reduced service requirement here are;

Stagecoach Midlands

Now delicensed here following accident damage, are Scania Omnidekka 15404 and Dart SLF 35185. Now in the reserve fleet at Rugby are Dart SLFs 34421/549/880.

Now allocated to Kettering is MAN/Enviro 300 28835, with 22833/834 being prepared for service and due to transfer to Kettering soon. Dart SLF 35184 and Optare Solos 47408/653 are now for disposal here.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands)

Now reported as scrapped are Volvo B7Rs 53279/280, with similar 53257/264/337 along with Volvo B12Bs 53103/104 now sold to Ensign Bus.

Received here from Stagecoach East is Volvo B9R 53704, along with similar 53702/705/716 from Stagecoach South East. All are allocated to Thurso.

Enviro 300s 27589/590 have transferred from Tain to Inverness, with similar 27596/597 due to transfer from Tain to Orkney. Volvo B9R 53629 has transferred from Caithness to Skye and similar 53623 is now at Tain following repairs. Also allocated to Kirkwall after repairs is Optare Solo SR electric 49806, the solo remaining electric Solo in this fleet following the transfer of 49800-905 to Stagecoach West Scotland.

Reported as due here from Stagecoach Manchester following seat belt fitment at Ensign Bus is Enviro 400 19031, which is expected to be allocated to Aviemore. Back here after seat belt fitment, Enviro 400s 19038/040/043/219 have been allocated to Inverness.

Trident/ALX400s 18018/09112/113 have been withdrawn and are awaiting disposal. Also withdrawn here are Volvo B12Bs 53101/102/109/113 and 54038 along with Volvo B7Rs 53256/310/315/331.

The vehicles recently transferred from Stagecoach East Scotland have been allocated to, Inverness (54363), Orkney (53108/254/255/304/305), Skye (54362), Tain (53275/276 and 54102/103), and Thurso (54118/119).

Stagecoach South

Transferred from the Reserve Fleet into the main fleet at Portsmouth is Dennis Trident/ALX400 17740, whilst training fleet Dart SLF 33189 has been transferred from Winchester to Guildford.

Stagecoach South Wales

Recently returned from Stagecoach London, Optare Solos 47632/642 are at Cwmbran and 47638 is at Porth, whilst Optare Solo SRs 47847/848 are at Aberdare. Of these, 47642 has been repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery.

Stagecoach South West

Vehicles being stood down here due to reduced service requirements are:

We understand that Enviro 400s 19105-107 at Barnstaple have been earmarked for open top conversion. Now for disposal here are former training fleet Volvo B10M 52345 and Volvo B7R 53235.
