Arriva Midlands

Wigston allocated Enviro 200 2000 and Volvo B9TL/Optare Olympus 4103 and 4109, and Thurmaston based VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2s 3778 and 3810 have received the ‘Journey Mark’ livery. Shrewsbury based Optare Versa 3691 has received a ‘Pride’ rainbow on its existing ‘Journey Mark’ livery.

VDL SB200/Wright Pulsars 3729, 3730, and 3731 from Tamworth, and Enviro 400s 4400 and 4401 from Derby, have transferred to Aylesbury. This has aided the withdrawal of their elderly Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse-Geminis, with 4017, 4018, 4019, 4021, 4022, 4024, and 4026 all now withdrawn. Similar 4020 has transferred to Arriva Southern Counties (where it has been numbered 6155 and allocated to Northfleet), whilst 4025 remains in use at Aylesbury.

D&G Bus

VDL SB120/Plaxton Centros 603 and 605 have been transferred here from Centrebus.


Diamond Bus

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 20989 is now in service at Tividale, and joins similar 20987 and 20988 in use at Redditch on the Bromsgrove Demand Rapid Transport.

MAN/Plaxton Centro 30922 is another to be converted to battery-electric at Tividale, and carries the new green and blue Diamond Electric livery.

Volvo B9TL/Wright Gemini 2 40625 has transferred to Redditch, from Preston, joining similar 40626.


First Hampshire & Dorset

Scania Omnicitys 65007 and 65019, and Enviro 200 44509, have been transferred to First South West.


First Midlands

Volvo B7TL/ALX400s 32066 and 32067 have transferred from Worcester to Adderley Green.

Volvo B9TL/Wright Geminis 36241 and 36242 have transferred from First South Yorkshire to Worcester.

First West of England

Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urbans 66909 and 66983 have both now been reinstated here after being out of traffic for a number of months.


Midland Classic

The final Scania/Irizar i3 to enter service here was 14 (YN17ONF), carrying the new livery. Irizars 17 and 19 have also been repainted, having previously operated in red, as have Enviro 200s 35 & 36.

Scania N230UD/Optare Olympus 51 is due to leave the fleet, and is currently for sale. Scania N94UD/Omnidekka 56 has passed to Connexions Buses. Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 77 has been withdrawn, and similar 86 has been scrapped.

ADL Enviro 400s 91, 92 and 93, which had been purchased from Metroline in 2019, are due to leave the fleet.

National Express West Midlands

Withdrawals of the oldest single deckers in the fleet are now taking place, after being surplus due to service reductions. Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urbans 1751, 1752, 1755, 1757, 1760, 1762, 1765, 1766, 1769 and 1771, from Walsall, have all been withdrawn. Most of these are now located at the Pensnett. Previously withdrawn Volvo B7TL/ALX400s 4267, 4273, 4294, 4300, 4304, and 4421, and Dennis Trident/ALX400s 4309, 4320, 4337, 4369, and 4382, have all departed for scrap.

Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 2092 has transferred from Wolverhampton to Pensnett, similar 2120, 2121, 2122, and 2123 have transferred from Wolverhampton to Walsall, and similar 2135, 2136, 2137, 2138, 2139, and 2140 have moved from Pensnett to Walsall. At Wolverhampton a number of these had been debranded, being 2010 and 2011 (previously for the 2), 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 (previously for the 3/4), 2029 (previously for the 6), and 2062 (previously for the 5).

Dennis Trident/ALX400 4383 at Yardley Wood is another to receive an allover advert for ‘very’ clothes.

Dennis Trident/ALX400 4607 has transferred to Yardley Wood from Walsall. Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Geminis 4476 and 4477 have transferred from Perry Barr to West Bromwich, with similar 4484 currently on loan at Acocks Green. ADL Enviro 400s 4748, 4749, and 4750 have transferred from Pensnett to West Bromwich, whilst similar 4835 at Coventry has had its route 21 branding removed. ADL Enviro 400 MMCs 6880-6889 at Birmingham Central have had new branding applied for the X21/X22, which omits the now withdrawn X20.

Further Wright Streetdeck FCEVs delivered are H1005, H1006, and H1007, which are registered BX21DCE/DCF/DCO

Now repainted is Scania Omnilink 1797 at Acocks Green, and Enviro 200 866 at Pensnett, whilst similar 861 is in for repaint.

South Staffs Coach Hire

Recently acquired here is Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President V427MOA, once with National Express West Midlands as 4027. It last served with Blueline Travel in Essex.

Stagecoach East

Enviro 200 37232 has now been returned to Peterborough, after working from Fenstanton depot. Enviro 400 MMCs 10872 and 10873 have been transferred from Peterborough to Bedford.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery are Enviro 400 19044 and MAN/Enviro 300 24193. Currently in the paintshop at Lincoln is Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 21266.

Currently operating on loan at Gainsborough, from the Grimsby Reserve Fleet, is Dart SLF 34570.

Stagecoach Midlands

ADL Enviro 200 37061 has returned on loan to Nuneaton, allowing similar 37074 to return to Northampton. The MAN Enviro 200s which had been in storage at Nuneaton for two years; 39694, 39695, 39696, 39697, 39698, and 39700, have now departed although it is currently unknown where to.

Scania Enviro 400 15455, based at Kettering, is currently being repainted.

Dennis Trident/ALX400 18081 and 18193 have returned to the operational fleet at Basingstoke.

Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery is Dennis Trident/ALX400 18503.

Dennis Trident/ALX400 17734 and 18080 have been repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery.


Stagecoach South West

Recent reallocation changes have seen Dennis Trident/ALX400 18396 and 18397 transfer from Plymouth to Barnstaple, being joined at Barnstaple by similar 18135, 18136 and 18137 which have moved over from Exeter. Scania/Enviro 400 15901 has transferred from Exeter to Torquay, whilst Enviro 200s 36221-224 have transferred from Exeter to Plymouth. Enviro 400s 19002, 19093, 19094 and 19095 have been reallocated from Barnstaple to Exeter, with Dart SLFs 34877, 35243, 35244, and 35265 have transferred from Plymouth to Torquay.

Recent repaints reported here are of Optare Solo SR 48009 and 48010 into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery, and Volvo B11R 54306 and 54307 into Stagecoach ‘Distance’ livery.

Stagecoach West

Correction to Fleet Report 6th September - Scania/Enviro 400 15977 remains at Cheltenham, and has not transferred to Gloucester as we reported.

Enviro 200 36448 has been transferred from Oxford to Stroud. Dart SLFs 34716, 34718, and 34787, have been withdrawn.

The Green Bus

More Enviro 400s to arrive here from Abellio London are; 610 (LJ09CDV), 611 (LJ09CDX), 612 (LJ09CDY), 613 (LJ09CDZ), 614 (LJ09CEA), and 615 (LJ09CEF).

All of the Dennis Tridents in this fleet are now out of use here excluding Plaxton President bodied 126 and 127.
