Correction to Fleet Report 26th June 2021: Cardinal Buses Dart SLF SN03WMC has been repainted into Metrobus’ original red, blue and yellow livery.


Centrebus

Optare Solo 378 YJ06FXP has been withdrawn. It iss the first Solo to be withdrawn at Luton since the type returned.


D&G Bus

Solo SR 167, Solo 175, Volvo B7RLEs 192 and 193, have all been repainted into Chaserider livery.

Dart SLF 15 & 16 have now left the Chaserider fleet, having seen little use since the takeover from Arriva. Similar Dart SLFs 6, 8 and 19 have been taken out of use and are SORN’d.


East Yorkshire

Currently in the bodyshop is Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 794, whilst in the paint shop is ADL Enviro 200 MMC 506. Fresh from the paint shop is Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemin 795 which is now away for internal refurbishment.

National Express fleet Scania/Caetano Levantes 1-7 are now back in service here.

Grant Palmer

Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 709 has now been registered to BU57WAY, having arrived and entered service with the SN57GMU mark.

Scania OmniCity 152 reverted to its original registration of YN03WRG a few weeks ago, having previously carried the BU52WAY number plate. Presumably this is pending withdrawal.

Megabus/Scottish Citylink

Transferred to Hull (Stagecoach East Midlands) are Volvo B11Rs 54214/215 from Rugby (Stagecoach Midlands) and 54268 from North Bristol (Stagecoach West). There was an increase in Megabus duties from Hull from June 21st 2021. 

Van Hool Astromega, 50307, which had been on loan to Freestones has subsequently been reported as being used on Transport for Greater Manchester schools contracts. 

Van Hool Astromega 50243 in the Megabus fleet with Stagecoach West Scotland at Cumbernauld is now for disposal having been replaced by 50275 whilst 50284 has transferred from Cumbernauld to Kilmarnock.

Midland Classic

New here is a Volvo B8RLE/MCV Evora, registered BV21OPM.


National Express West Midlands

Enviro 200 860 from Walsall, Scania Omnilink 1824 from Perry Barr, and Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 2105 from Pensnett have all reentered service following repaint. Currently in for repaint are Scania Omnilink 1823 from Perry Barr, and Enviro 200s 834 (from Pensnett), 837 (from Wolverhampton) and 855 (from Walsall). 

Trident/ALX400 4390 has been withdrawn from service at Yardley Wood, with previously withdrawn 4383 resurrected from store to replace it. Trident 4572 at Birmingham Central has been transferred to Walsall, with similar 4596 going the other way. Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse-Geminis 4500 and 4501 have both transferred from Perry Barr to Acocks Green. 

Enviro 400 5405 is another moved to the East Yorkshire Scarborough depot, where it will be converted from Hybrid to straight diesel. Similar 5412 was recently completed and is back in service at Wolverhampton.

Enviro 400 MMC 6146 at Perry Barr has now had its Outer Circle branding removed, and replaced by contactless ticket branding.

Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire

The entire operational allocation at Kendal depot now carries green ‘Lakesider’ livery (open top Volvo B5TLs 13801-807) or green ‘Lakes Connection’ livery. Other vehicles in ‘Lakes Connection’ livery are Trident/Plaxton President (open top) 17692 at Carlisle; ADL Enviro 400MMCs 10561-563 and Scania/Enviro 400 15699 at Morecambe; as well as Trident/ALX400 open top 17217, 17489/90, Scania/Enviro 300 28747 and Optare Solo SR Slimline 48001/02 at West Cumbria.
At 11th June 2021 we understand that vehicles in the new Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery total 18 at Carlisle, 15 at Morecambe, 16 at West Cumbria and 15 at Barrow with one in the Strategic Reserve Fleet. 


Stagecoach East

ADL Enviro 400MMCs 11279 and 11280 are confirmed as now being a permanent part of this fleet. They were initially allocated ‘on loan’ in late 2019 and allocated to Bedford to provide cover during the engineering resilience modification programme on the Volvo B11R/Plaxton elite coaches which were used on the X5 route. Reserve Fleet 8.9m Enviro 200 36322 has moved from Cambridge to Bedford.

Following completion of the Enviro 200 repaint programme at Peterborough, Dart SLFs 34771 and 34773 have transferred into the Reserve Fleet with 34771 also moving to Cambridge where a start is being made on the repainting of the depot’s Enviro 300s with 27852 being the first example to be despatched to the paint shop at Bedford to receive the new Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery. Bedford-allocated Enviro 200 36044 has now received Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery.

Volvo B8L/Enviro 400XLB 13912 has returned here after repairs at ADL Harlow following extensive roof sustained in a low bridge collision at the end of 2020, however, 13907 is now away at ADL Harlow for repairs to front end collision damage.

Enviro 200 36045 training bus is at an external contractor (Full Circle) for repairs whilst 36042 has been stood down from service and is now for conversion to a training vehicle.

Volvo B11Rs 54305/308/312/316/318 are now back in the main fleet at Bedford but similar 54317 has been transferred to the Reserve Fleet.

All seven operational Dart SLFs at Bedford, (34535/536/537/538/828/830/834), have been transferred to the operational Reserve Fleet. Allocated to Bedford is former Stagecoach London ADL Enviro 200 (8.9m) 36321 whilst 36306 and 36322 are now also at Bedford but remain in the Reserve Fleet.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Further Stagecoach ‘Local’ repaints here are of Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 16944, Enviro 400 19052, and MAN/Enviro 300 22877. Scania/Enviro 400 15654 has been repainted into the revised InterConnect livery. 

A H Hardwick (Dealer) has taken the remains of MAN/ALX300 22379. 

Previously unreported is the return to service of Scania/Enviro 400s 15652 and 15809 along with Volvo B7TL 16941 and Enviro 300s 27794 and 27879 at Skegness, which had been the last Decommissioned vehicles here. Following use on loan to Skegness open top Volvo B7TL 16943 (Lincoln Tour Bus) has returned to Lincoln. 

Recently noted operating out of Skegness depot is Enviro 300 27784.

During this weekend Enviro 400 MMC 11192-201 have all been on loan to Stagecoach Midlands for the Formula 1 park & ride duties at Silverstone. As a result Scania/Enviro 400s 15175/176 and Enviro 300 27757 (from Worksop), Enviro 200 MMC 26174 and Enviro 300s 27196/197 (from Scunthorpe), Enviro 300 27200 and Transbus Enviro 300 27594 (from Mansfield), and Trident/ALX400 18338 (from Gainsborough) are on loan to Hull.

Stagecoach London 

Scania Omnidekka 15025/028/029/031/032/034/035/048/073 and Enviro 200s 36365/366 are all earmarked for conversion work here and then cascade to provincial fleets. It is believed that the ‘Scanias’ may be for Stagecoach East Scotland but nothing is confirmed.

Enviro 200 36345 has transferred from Barking to West Ham whilst Trident 17843 has been sold. 


Stagecoach Manchester

Magicbus-liveried ADL Enviro 400 19177 was operating from Wigan in early June 2021, having been transferred from Middleton. Our records show just 21 ADL Enviro 400s retaining Magicbus colours in early June 2021 with eight in the Strategic Reserve Fleet (19168/185/190/220/222/225/228) and the remainder allocated to the operational fleet at Sharston (19229/263), Wigan (19177/191), Hyde Road (19227/268) and Stockport (19178/180/192/199/221/223/226). 

Enviro 200 36429 from the Reserve Fleet is now at Ashton as a replacement for Optare Solo 47619 which is now in the Reserve Fleet. 


Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire 

Scania/Enviro 400 15586 has received Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery replacing its pink Cancer Research UK branding which it carried when transferred from Stagecoach South several years ago.

Stagecoach Midlands 

Scania/Enviro 400s 15525 and 15845 have been transferred from Stagecoach West and are due to be joined by 15523/524/526. Most will be allocated to Northampton and will eventually allow the loaned Enviro 400s 80071/073/074/075 and Volvo B9TLs 80078-081 to be returned to Ensign Bus

Enviro 200s 37049 and 37073 have transferred to Nuneaton from Leamington Spa.

Now in service at Kettering are MAN/Enviro 300s 22837 (from Nuneaton) and 22838/839 (from Leamington). Further moves of MAN/Enviro 300s are due to take place enabling the oldest Dart SLFs in this fleet to be stood down.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird)

Volvo B11R 54831 from Elgin is away at Ferrymill Motors for repairs.


Stagecoach South

Portsmouth allocated Scania/Enviro 400 15988, and Chichester allocated Enviro 400 10001 have now received the ‘Coastliner 700’ branded Stagecoach ‘Distance’ livery.


Stagecoach South Wales

Now in the revised training livery here is Dart SLF 34389. 


Stagecoach South West

Dart SLFs 34725/729 have been transferred from Barnstaple to Exeter in exchange for Enviro 200s 37134/135 whilst Scania/Enviro 400 15900 is now allocated to Torquay (from Exeter). 

Now Decommissioned here are Trident 18395 and Optare Solo 47698 (both at Barnstaple). 


Stagecoach UK Bus

ADL Enviro 200 36320, which was recorded as being transferred from Stagecoach London to Stagecoach East earlier this year and then turned up with Scottish operator Moffat & Williamson is in fact still owned by Stagecoach UK and is merely on loan to Moffat & Williamson. It is allocated to Stagecoach East Scotland, where it has been reported as being in the Reserve Fleet. 


Stagecoach West

Oxford-allocated Gold-specification Scania/Enviro 400s 15832 and 15835 were both parked up at Stagecoach Midland’s Rugby depot on June 10th 2021. Scania/Enviro 400s 15523-526 are due to be transferred from Stroud (with 15525 moving on 4th July 2021) to Stagecoach Midlands and will be replaced by 15732/733/879/880 which will transfer across from Gloucester.

Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery is Enviro 200 36136. Now in the paintshop at North Bristol are Scania/Enviro 400 15736 and Enviro 200 37324.

Stagecoach West Scotland

Optare Solo 47002, transferred here from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire, is being prepared for service and allocation to Arran. 

Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery are Optare Solo SRs 47842 and 47845.


Xelabus

Acquired here are Trident/East Lancs Mylleniums PA06AHL and PA06AHO.
