Recent changes record here have seen Volvo B5TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 96 is now allocated to Hull, with Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 796 and 797 reinstated at Elloughton. Similar 788 and 789 are to transfer from Elloughton to Hull.

Transbus Enviro 274 has been repainted into a white based livery for use as an NHS vaccination bus, and now carries fleet number 8274.

Currently in the paint shop is Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 780.

Enviro 200 601 sold to RedLine, Aylesbury.
New 601 is an ex ADL demo, now registered E17SGN, classic Enviro 200 shape, but fitted with a Euro 6 engine. 

First Hampshire & Dorset

Open Top Volvo B7TL/ALX400 32031 (W801 EOW), 32033 (W803 EOW), and 32036 (W806 EOW) have been reregistered, to OIG 6947 (32031), RKZ 4760 (32033) and WYY 752 (32036). Open Top Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse-Geminis 32329 (LK53 LYJ), 32330 (LK53 LYO), and 32343 (LK53 LZD) have also been reregistered to 620 HOD (32329), KFX 791 (32330) and TPR 354 (32343).

Imperial Coaches

New Here are Enviro 400 MMCs SK21 FKA and SK21 FKB.

Little Jim's Buses

Now here from County Bus is Optare Solo YJ56 WVH, whilst sold out of this fleet to Ensign Bus is Enviro 200 LJ56 ONS.

Megabus/Scottish Citylink

Now allocated to North Bristol (Stagecoach West) are Volvo B11Rs 54263-265 which had been part of the Rugby (Stagecoach Midlands) fleet. 

Volvo B11Rs 54214 and 54215, from Rugby (Stagecoach Midlands), and 54268 from North Bristol (Stagecoach West) are being reallocated to Hull (Stagecoach East Midlands). These assist in providing for the new Megabus service which partially replaces the former bus route X62 (Hull to Leeds) which was withdrawn in March 2020 due to the pandemic.

MP Travel 

Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini MP11GEM, Volvo B7RLE/Wright Commuter W17MPT and MAN/ALX300 T728OEF are all on loan to Stagecoach Manchester until the end of July for school services. T728OEF is notable for carrying Stagecoach ‘Stripes’ livery (being new to Stagecoach in 1999), whilst W17MPT is former Stagecoach 21201.

National Express West Midlands

Further moves recorded in line with the introduction of the Birmingham Clean Air Zone. Enviro 200 753 has moved from Pensnett to West Bromwich, with Enviro 400 4751 moving in the opposite direction. Trident/ALX400s 4462 and 4571 have transferred from Birmingham Central to Walsall, in exchange for Trident/ALX400s 4603 and 4605. Now at Perry Barr, from Acocks Green are Enviro 400 MMCs 6147 and 6148. These have swapped places with Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse-Geminis 4475, 4499, 4503 and 4504 which are now at Acocks Green. Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 2142 has moved from Wolverhampton to Pensnett.

Now in for repaint are Scania Omnilink 1824, Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urbans 2105 and 2111, Enviro 200 754 and 860. Now devoid of its former 97 branding is Walsall based Trident 4463.

Redline Buses

Enviro 200 CX65 BUF has joined this fleet from Ensign Bus.

Stagecoach East

Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery are Enviro 200s 36936 and 37225, and Enviro 200 MMC 37434.

News reaches us that on June 7th 2021 the open top Bristol FLF, 19952, which has been stored at Ely depot for over 18 months, was seen parked up in a yard in nearby Witchford. Further information is awaited but it is known there are plans to return the vehicle to operational use. As far as we are away the Leyland Olympian ‘Megadekka’ remains stored at Ely.

Stagecoach East Midlands 

Recently repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery here are Enviro 200 MMC 26274, Enviro 300s 27201 and 27640, MAN/Enviro 300s 22575 and 22773, and Enviro 200 37190.

Now transferred to Scunthorpe is Dart SLF 35144, which was allocated to the reserve fleet at Grimsby. It has replaced Volvo B7TL/East Lancs Vyking 16915.

After its loan period coming to end at Skegness, open top Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 16943 has been returned to Lincoln.

Stagecoach London

The eight Optare Solo SRs currently on loan from Stagecoach East, 48023-25/31-35 are expected to be returned at the end of the current schools academic year in July 2021. ADL Enviro 400s 19131-36 are now allocated to Bow.

Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery are Enviro 400s 19224, 19229 and 19290.

Stagecoach Midlands

Brand New Yutong E10 39890 (YD21NGE) has entered service at Leamington where it will be used on a National Grid contract. Now transferred from Rugby to Kettering is Dart SLF 34421.

Vehicles taken out of service for engineering attention and delicensed in May 2021 were Scania/Enviro 400 15943 (Northampton), Dart SLF 35178 (Kettering), Enviro 200MMC 26217 (Nuneaton), Enviro 200s 36210 (Rugby) and 37060 (Northampton) along with Enviro 400 10038 (Leamington).

Stagecoach North East 

During late May 2021 the four Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Geminis on loan from Ensign Bus, 80044-047, were transferred to the Reserve Fleet with 80044/045 at Walkergate and 80046/047 at Slatyford. 

Correction to Fleet Report 8th June 2021: On Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands) the news should read 28644/645/649/650, and not 28644/645/649/650.

A further repaint here into Stagecoach ‘Distance’ livery is of Enviro 400 19097.

Stagecoach West

Noted in service this week so far are brand new Scania/Enviro 400 MMCs 15350, 15351 and 15352, which all carry branding for the 10 route in Gloucester.

With the new Scania/Enviro 400 MMCs now being delivered here, we understand that some of the replaced Scania/Enviro 400s will be moved on to Stagecoach Midlands.

The Big Lemon of Brighton

A further four Higer Bus built Electric Buses have been purchased, with bodies supplied by Harris Bus & Coach, are on order. These will be launched at The Big Lemon’s inaugural London to Brighton Electric Vehicle Rally on Sunday 18th July, sponsored by EDF. 

Acquired here are three Optare Versas, YJ12 GWX/Y/Z.

Xelabus

Recently acquired here are Dennis Dart GX54DVY (numbered 402 in the Xelabus fleet), and Trident/ALX400s K3WSX (LG02FDO), T3WSX (LG02FDV), KU02YBM, and X388NNO.
