Arriva Midlands

Optare Solo 2502 and Optare Solo SR 2518 have transferred from Telford to Shrewsbury, whilst Optare Solos 2536 and 2537 have been repainted into ‘Journey Mark’ livery at Shrewsbury.

Optare Versas 2943 and 2944 have transferred from Shrewsbury to Oswestry, whilst similar 2991 has become a driver trainer at Shrewsbury (renumbered 9560). Scania Omnilinks 3508, 3509 and 3510 are now at Telford, and 3511 and 3512 are at Derby, from Oswestry.

VDL SB200/Plaxton Centros 3734 and 3845 are withdrawn at Telford, whilst VDL DB250/Wright Gemini 4757 is the first of the type at Thurmaston to be withdrawn. The last DAF SB120/Wright Cadet here has now been scrapped, being 2702 previously based at Telford, whose recently withdrawn DAF SB200/Wright Commander 3740 has also been scrapped.

Cardiff Bus

D&G Bus

Acquired are two more Optare Metrocitys, 149 (YJ67GBX) and 151 (YJ67GBY). They are allocated to Adderley Green, and are currently in base white livery.

Diamond

Now withdrawn at Tividale are Dart MPD 20023 and MAN/Plaxton Centro 30302, the latter having been out of use for a long period of time.

Transferred in from Diamond North West’s Bolton depot are Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urbans 30850 and 30855 at Kidderminster, and 30851 and 30852 at Tividale.

Withdrawn vehicles sold are VDL SB120/Plaxton Centro 30009, Volvo B7RLE/Optare Esteem 30408 and 30483, and DAF SB200/Wright Commander 32101, to DeLuxe Coaches of Burton on Trent.

Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urbans 30815, 30882 and 30885, and Dart SLFs 30930 and 30932 have been sold for scrap. Dart SLF 30886 has been exported to an unknown destination.

East Yorkshire

Currently in the bodyshop is Volvo B7RLE/Plaxton Centro 363, and in the paintshop is Enviro 200 MMC 513. Completed fro the paintshop are Volvo B7RLE/Plaxton Centro 361 and Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 719.

Enviro 200 MMC 396 has been transferred from Hull to Pocklington, and now relicensed at Hull is Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 698.

New here are Enviro 400 MMCs SK71CLJ and SK71CLN, currently in base white livery.

Megabus/Scottish Citylink

Now in the Megabus fleet at Cumbernauld (Stagecoach West Scotland) is Van Hool Astromega 50281, which has transferred from the domestic fleet at Kilmarnock. It has displaced 50252 into the Megabus Reserve Fleet.

Midland Classic

Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President 101 (LK04NNE) is withdrawn with engine failure.

Enviro 400s 91 (LK56FHE) and 93 (LK57AXM) have been sold to Roselyn Coaches.

Newly acquired is VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar YJ08EFW from Diamond, whilst on loan here is Optare Versa NK09FNE from Go North East.

National Express West Midlands

Currently in for repaint are Enviro 200 755 (from West Bromwich) and Scania Omnilinks 1794 (from Acocks Green) and 1834 (from Walsall). Recently repainted are Scania Omnilinks 1796 (at Acocks Green) and 1835 (at Walsall).

Withdrawn is Dennis Trident 4322 at Wolverhampton, whilst Volvo B7TL/ALX400s 4243 and 4299, and Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 4497 have all been scrapped.

Former Hybrid Enviro 400 5401 is now being converted to straight diesel at East Yorkshire’s Scarborough depot.

The final Wright Streetdeck FCEVs delivered were H1019 (BX21DDZ) and H1020 (BX21DFA). Some are now in use on weekdays on route 51 (Birmingham-Walsall).

Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire

Receiving Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery here are Enviro 400 Hybrid 12206 and Optare Versa 25267.

ADL Enviro 400MMCs 11154 and 11215 have returned to service at Morecambe and Optare Versas 25265/266/267 are back in service and allocated to Carlisle. Open top Trident 17277 is now for disposal. Also now for disposal are Dart SLFs 34565/579/708/708. Optare Solo 47138 has returned to service at Barrow as a replacement for accident damaged 47148. Optare Solo 47133 has been sold.

Stagecoach East

Repaints reported here are of Enviro 400 MMC 10499 into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery and Enviro 400 MMCs 10874 and 10880 into Stagecoach ‘Distance’ livery.

Open Top Volvo B5TL 13813 was returned here in November 2021 after an extended period on loan to Stagecoach South West.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Plaxton President Trident 18042 has returned to the main fleet at Lincoln with ALX400 Tridents 18122 delicensed following accident damage and 18431 moving to the Reserve Fleet.

Reserve Fleet Trident/ALX400 18418 is back in the main fleet at Gainsborough displacing Plaxton President-bodied Trident 18038 to the Reserve Fleet.

BYD/Enviro 200EVs 30016 and 30017 carry a green/white/blue livery and have been joined at Mansfield depot by 30018/19 (LG71DJF/J). These vehicles are of the shorter 10.2m length, hence their numbering in the 300xx number series.

The remains East Lancs-bodied Volvo B7TL/East Lancs Vykings 16905/908/909/912, which had been ‘scrapped’ here were disposed of to A H Hardwick (dealer).

Latest repaints into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery are Scania/Enviro 400 15509, Plaxton President/Trident 18033, Enviro 200 MMC 26257 and Enviro 200s 37196 and 37208. Currently undergoing repaint at Lincoln are Enviro 200 36706 (which has been out of service since late October after sustaining accident damage), and Dart SLF 35148.

Stagecoach East Scotland

Transferred here from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire are Optare Solos 47326 and 47332.

MAN/Enviro 300 22572 has been taken out of service at Perth and transferred on loan to Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird).

Now in service at Perth are nine BYD/Enviro 200EVs, 29110-118.

Transferred to Stagecoach West Scotland are Volvo B9Rs 53733 and 53738, and Volvo B13Rs 54101/102/104/105.

Stagecoach London

Scania Omnicitys 15030/031/032/033/034/035/048/073 are returning here following a reversal of their transfer to Stagecoach South East.

Stagecoach Manchester

The Omnibus Society North West and Yorkshire reports that MAN/Enviro 300s 22521/86/87 are earmarked for driver training conversion.

Enviro 400 19168 has transferred to Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire and is at Gilmoss depot.

Withdrawn and cannibalised Enviro 200 36074 has been moved from Middleton to Hyde Road, whilst 36077 has transferred from Middleton to Stockport. The company reports that Enviro 400 Hybrid 12020 is being prepared for loan to a college.

Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire

The Omnibus Society North West & Yorkshire Branch reports that MAN/Enviro 300 24152 has become a training bus here.

Enviro 400 19168 has transferred from Stagecoach Manchester and is reported as being for conversion here, suggesting it is likely to become an open top vehicle for the Chester Sightseeing tour.

Optare Solos 47326 and 47332 have transferred to Stagecoach East Scotland with 47335 being returned to the Reserve Fleet here and 47329 now being for disposal.

Reported as allocated to Chester are Enviro 400MMCs 10576 and 10577 with Enviro 400s 19634/372 now being allocated to Gilmoss. 10536 also operated from Chester for a short while before returning to Gilmoss.

Stagecoach Midlands

Now in Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery here are Enviro 200s 36154 and 36218.

Volvo B10M 20215, part of the heritage fleet here, is currently undergoing overhaul which will see it repainted into the original Stagecoach ‘Stripes’ livery

Optare Solos 47510, 47518 and 47652 have been sold to Ensign Bus.

Transferred out of this fleet to Stagecoach West Scotland is Optare Solo 47651.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird)

On loan from Stagecoach East Scotland and in the Reserve Fleet at Aberdeen is MAN/Enviro 300 22572.

Volvo B7TL 16973 has been sold and similar 16976 has been donated to charity.

Volvo B11Rs 54242 and 54825 are at Ferrymill Motors for repairs. Volvo B7Rs on the move are 53608 and 53610 from Peterhead to Elgin and 53632 from Elgin to Aberdeen.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands)

New Optare Solo SRs delivered here 48051-053 (YJ71GWC/D/E), they are allocated to Kirkwall and carry the same blue/green livery as carried by the Volvo B8RLE/MCV Evoras here.

Now for disposal are Volvo B7Rs 53304 and 53314 along with Volvo B12B 53108. Authorised for disposal and being scrapped are Tridents 18119 and 18339 along with MAN/Enviro 300 22864 and Optare Solo 47732. Sold to NWBS are Volvo B7Rs 53294, 53309 and 53334.

Optare Solo 47574 has been taken out of service and returned to Kirkwall Council whilst additional Volvo B8R/MCV saloons now in service at Kirkwall are 21378 and 21379. Enviro 300 27914 is a transfer from Kirkwall to Inverness, with Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 21208 at Inverness moving into the Reserve Fleet.

The company reports that Enviro 400 19218 is due to move to Stagecoach Manchester for repairs and MOT preparation.

Stagecoach South

Repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery are Trident 18522 and Enviro 400 19099. Chichester allocated Enviro 300 27755 has received the name Ray Judd.

Decorated as Santa buses for 2021 have been Enviro 200s 36839 at Guildford and 36912 at Aldershot, which carried seasonal branding on their ‘Local’ livery.

Tridents 18084 and 18118 have been transferred from Andover to Winchester, whilst Enviro 400 19077 has transferred from Portsmouth to Chichester. Enviro 200 MMC 26308 has moved from Basingstoke to Portsmouth.

Moving out of the reserve fleet here, and into their respective depots main fleets, are Trident 18078 and Enviro 300 27561 at Winchester, Enviro 300 27564 and Enviro 200 36840 at Basingstoke, Dart SLF 34631 and Enviro 300 27570 at Chichester, Dart SLF 34629 at Portsmouth, Dart SLFs 35120 and 35127 at Andover, and Dart SLF 34518 at Worthing. Enviro 400 MMC 10959 has returned to service at Worthing after receiving accident damage repairs. Trident 17740 and Enviro 300 27667 have been withdrawn.

A number of Enviro 200s, including 36701/702/703, have transferred here from Stagecoach West Scotland with 36701/703 having reached Portsmouth depot on 15th December 2021 and 36702 en-route. Enviro 200s 36255 and 36256 have been transferred from Stagecoach South West, with them being allocated to Andover and Portsmouth respectively.

Stagecoach South East

Look out for Scania OmniCitys 15030/031/032/033/034/035/048/073 returning to Stagecoach London following a reversal of their transfer to Stagecoach South East.

Now for disposal here are Open Top Trident 18477, Dart SLF 34548, and Optare Solo 47117. Dart SLFs 34541 and 34778, along with Optare Solo 47668 have also been withdrawn and sold. Previously withdrawn vehicles also sold are Dart SLFs 34410 and 34657 along with Optare Solo 47676.

Transferred from the Reserve Fleet at Herne Bay to the main fleet at Eastbourne is Dart SLF 34493. Scania/Enviro 400 MMC 15276 has transferred from Herne Bay to Hastings whilst Reserve Fleet Dart SLF 34544 from Ashford joins the main fleet at Herne Bay (as a replacement for 34541). Transferred into the Reserve Fleet for repairs are Dart SLF 34659 and Optare Solo 47683.

Stagecoach South Wales

Scania/Enviro 300 28726 is the first of the type here to receive the Euro 6 engine upgrade modification and has received branding proclaiming that it is a ‘Greener Bus’. Similar wording has also been applied to upgraded Enviro 200s.

Stagecoach South West

Open Top Volvo B5TL 13813 was returned to Stagecoach East in November 2021 after an extended period on loan here.

Transferred to Stagecoach South are Enviro 200s 36255 and 36256.

Stagecoach West

Now for disposal here are Trident 18085, Dart SLFs 34832 and 35212, and Optare Solos 47241/244/556. Also for disposal are the three MAN/Enviro 200s (39683/685/699) that joined the fleet around twelve months ago from Stagecoach Midlands.

Enviro 200 36132 is a transfer from Cheltenham to Stroud whilst Reserve Fleet vehicles back in the main fleet are Dart SLF 34590 at Stroud and Optare Solos 47297 and 47478 at Cheltenham. Moving to the Reserve Fleet are Levante 59306 from the Private Hire fleet at North Bristol and Optare Solo 47549 at Cheltenham. Oxford’s Scania/Enviro 400 15758 is currently undergoing repaint.

Van Hool Astromega 50272 is now in the operational Oxford Tube fleet and has ousted 50237 to the Reserve Fleet.

Stagecoach West Scotland

Received here from Stagecoach East Scotland are Volvo B9Rs 53733/738 (in service at Stranraer) and Volvo B13Rs 54101/102/104/105 (being prepared for service at Dumfries).

Enviro 300 27213 has returned to service at Cumbernauld following repairs with Enviro 400 MMC 10517 now out of service at Cumbernauld for repairs. Enviro 200 36741 has returned to the main fleet at Ayr with 36738 transferring from Ayr to Dumfries.

MAN/Enviro 300s 24183-188 have now transferred to Stagecoach Yorkshire, whilst Enviro 200s 36701/702/703 have transferred to Stagecoach South.

Stagecoach Yorkshire

MAN/Enviro 300s 24183-188 have now been transferred from Stagecoach West Scotland and are at Rawmarsh.

The five Enviro 400s here from Stagecoach Manchester (19199/220/222/224/228) are to provide additional capacity in Sheffield. By 10th December 2021 19199 and 19228 had been temporarily allocated to Ecclesfield, where the other three are also located and being prepared for use.

Returned to service following repairs are Enviro 400 19513 at Barnsley and Scania/Enviro 400 15826 at Chesterfield. Buses now out of service for repairs are Enviro 400MMC 10658 at Barnsley and MAN/Enviro 300 22558 at Rawmarsh.

Wellglade Group

Sutton-based spare Optare Solo 476 (FJ09 MWA) is currently out of service after sustaining accident damage.
