Centrebus
With thanks to ‘Beds Transport’, it has been reported that Scania K230UB/Wright Solar 748 has been repainted into the new livery. Additionally the Centrebus depot in Stevenage is to close, with all operations moving to the nearby Luton depot. Optare Solo SR 326 is the first bus to move, moving on the 24th January.
Stagecoach East
On loan at Stagecoach London until late December, Enviro 200s 36012/041/042/060/061/063-065 are still parked at Bedford depot out of use.
Stagecoach North East
The latest repaint here into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery is Scania/Enviro 300 (gas) 28008.
Stagecoach Oxfordshire
Scania/Enviro 300 28745 is currently at Stagecoach Midlands’ Rugby depot for an MOT.
Still a main stay of the former ‘Gold’ set of routes across Oxfordshire, Scania/Enviro 400 15933 is pictured in Woodstock on 25th January 2021. This brand is currently being phased out with the new company identity, and there is the possibility that the Scania/Enviro 400s could soon disappear if a Zero Emissions Zone is introduced in Oxfordshire. © Ciaran Bird.
Stagecoach South East
Now at Ashford for repaint is Herne Bay allocated Scania/Enviro 400 15554.
A correction to our previous report, the recently repainted Scania/Enviro 400 at Herne Bay is 15919. The one we stated as the repaint, 15915, had already been repainted. This now means the whole ‘Unibus’ fleet carries ‘Specialist’ livery.
Stagecoach South Wales
It has been confirmed that the planned fleet of electric Optare Metrocitys and Optare Solos for this fleet have been cancelled.
Stagecoach South West
A total of five Enviro 200s at Exeter have now been decommissioned, these are 36223/225/230/233/243.
Scania/Enviro 400 15805 is now in paint shop at Exeter, whilst Enviro 400 MMC 10458 has been repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery.
Still plying their trade in the Exeter area, four of the six Dennis Trident/AXL400s allocated to the depot were noted in service on 26th January 2021. One of those, 18134, is pictured in Bovey Tracey. © Adrian Roberts.
