Volvo B8RLE/Wright Eclipse Urban 164 returned to service on 17th December 2021 following long term repairs.
East Yorkshire
Recently completed from the paintshop here is Volvo B7RLE/Plaxton Centro 363, with Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 727 now in the bodyshop. Now in the bodyshop is Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 730.

The company has reported the following fleet changes on its website (posted on 19th December 2021).
Repaints last week included Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid 5396 and 5400 into ‘Country Ranger’ livery; Mercedes Citaro 0350N/Mercedes Citaro 5291 into Sunderland District Cherry livery, and Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Geminis 9060 and 9061 into Voyager livery, which have been numbered 6181 and 6182 respectively, following their permanent acquisition into the fleet. Open-top format Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TL 3999 returned to service at Deptford the 2021 #GNESantaBus event.
Further Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid to transfer to Washington from Deptford are 5415 and 5416. Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity 5259 has transferred to Riverside as a result. Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 6180 has returned to service at Chester-le-Street, displacing Scania N270UD/East Lancs OmniDekka 6174 to Washington. Wright StreetDeck/Wright StreetDeck Micro-Hybrid 3 6376 (NK70 BYU) has transferred to Washington from Consett. Scania N270UD/East Lancs Omnidekkaa 6172 and 6173 have been taken out of service for seatbelt fitment at Ensign Bus Company, Purfleet.
Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka 6165 has transferred from Chester-le-Street to Riverside. Volvo B5LH/Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 6069 has been taken out of service from Consett for USB charging point fitment and seat refurbishment.
The two loaned Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrids, 9050 and 9062, have been returned to Wrightbus.
Megabus/Scottish Citylink
Volvo B13R 54125 from the Stagecoach East Scotland fleet has is on loan to Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird).
Van Hool Astromega 50248 with Stagecoach West Scotland at Cumbernauld has been stood down for repairs.
Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire
Lakes-liveried Reserve Fleet Optare Solo 47058 from Kendal depot was on loan to Morecambe depot during December 2021. Dart SLF 34579 has been donated to charity and was moved to Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire’s Gilmoss depot shortly after Christmas 2021 moving across to Rock Ferry depot a few days later. Vehicles sold are open top Trident 17277 and Optare Solo 47014. Dart SLF 34709 is for disposal here.
Enviro 400 10017 and Enviro 200 37126 have been allocated to Morecambe whilst Optare Solos 47333/34 have been allocated to Kendal where they have displaced Enviro 200s 36100/01 to the Reserve Fleet. Also now in the Reserve Fleet are Trident 18324 and Dart SLF 34712 from Morecambe along with Enviro 400 19144 at Carlisle and Enviro 300 27748 at West Cumbria. Trident 18363 from Morecambe has been delicensed.
Recent repaints into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery are Enviro 400 10017, MAN/Enviro 300 22769, Optare Solo 47144 and Enviro 300 27748.
Stagecoach East
By mid-December 2021 Enviro 400MMCs 10877 and 10878 had been repainted in to Stagecoach ‘Distance’ livery with 11280 gaining Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery.
ADL Enviro 400 19591 had returned to service at Peterborough by mid-December 2021 following long term engine repairs.
Stagecoach East Midlands
Reserve Fleet Dart SLF 34570 has moved from Scunthorpe to Gainsborough. Transferred from the Reserve Fleet to the main fleet at the beginning of January 2022 were Enviro 300 27881 at Hull and Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urbans 21212 and 21213 at Skegness. Enviro 300 27638 at Lincoln has been transferred to the Reserve Fleet.
Further repaints here into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery are of Dart SLF 34426, Enviro 300 27641, and Enviro 200 37002.
The company has invited suggestions for a new Skegness Seasiders character name, whilst we understand some of the former Grimsby Tridents (17673/676-678) currently in use as open top vehicles at Skegness are due to be replaced this year.

Stagecoach East Scotland
Enviro 300s 27600/05/07 have been allocated to Arbroath displacing 27524/526/528 which are being prepared for transfer to Stagecoach South, whilst Volvo B9Rs 53734 and 53736 are being prepared for transfer to Stagecoach West Scotland.
Trident 18009 has transferred from the Rennies fleet to Perth with 18351 moving from St Andrews to the Rennies Fleet. Volvo B9R 53717 has joined the Rennies fleet as a replacement for Volvo B11R 54203 which is now for disposal after sustaining fire damage. Also for disposal is Optare Versa 25225. Taken out of service for long-term repairs are Volvo B5LH 13052, Optare Versa 25253 and Optare Solo SR 47943.
Volvo B13R 54129 has gone on loan to Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird), whilst 54103 has transferred to Stagecoach West Scotland. Fire-damaged vehicles, Trident 18015 and Volvo B11R 54203, have been scrapped whilst Volvo B9Rs 53731/732/735 are additional vehicles released for transfer to Stagecoach West Scotland.
Former Stagecoach East Volvo B11Rs 54311/312/313/315/316 are allocated to Aberhill, whilst former Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire Optare Solos 47326 and 47332 have been allocated to Dunfermline where similar 47362 is stood down for repairs.
Stagecoach London
The company has confirmed that Scania OmniCity 15024/025/026/027/028/029 are being converted to open top.
Enviro 400EVs 14164/165/166/169-171 have been allocated to Plumstead with Enviro 400s 19840-843 transferring from Plumstead to Catford
Stagecoach Manchester
Enviro 200 36075 from Ashton and Enviro 400 19231 from Hyde Road are now in the Reserve Fleet, whilst Reserve Fleet Optare Solo SR 48024 is now allocated to Ashton.
Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire
Reserve Fleet Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urbans 21256, 21257, 21260, and 21262 were parked up at Gilmoss depot in mid-December 2021. Also parked up at Gilmoss at the turn of 2022 was Optare Solo 47517 from Chester.
MAN/Enviro 300 24152 has received training livery and branding for its new role in the training fleet here, with 24153 also now part of the training fleet. Dart SLF training bus 34810 has been operating as a staff shuttle vehicle at Chester.
Enviro 300 27901 has transferred from Birkenhead to Chester with Enviro 200 36814 moving from Chester to Birkenhead.
A reduction in peak vehicle requirements at Preston has seen Optare Versas 25218, 25220, and 25221 and Enviro 300s 27113-116/155/156/889 become Reserve Fleet vehicles.
The company reports that open top Tridents 17470 and 17479 are being prepared for cascade within Stagecoach UK Bus.
Stagecoach Midlands
Withdrawn Optare Solos 47414/510/518/651/652, along with Dart SLF 35185 have been sold to Ensign Bus.
Following fitment of a replacement gearbox, Dart SLF 34425 has returned to service at Kettering whilst Enviro 200s back in service after repairs are 36154 at Nuneaton and 36219 at Rugby. Reductions in vehicle requirements have seen Northampton-allocated Scania/Enviro 400 15522 and Enviro 200s 37042 and 37043 transferred to the Strategic Reserve Fleet. Dart SLF at Kettering 34533 has been withdrawn.
Enviro 200 36207 has been repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery here.
Stagecoach North East
Stood down for repairs during December 2021 were Enviro 300s 27730 and 27733, Scania/Enviro 300 gas bus 28017 and MAN/Enviro 200s 39716 and 39726 at Sunderland. Dart SLF 35189 is now allocated to South Shields where similar 35233 is now being prepared for service. MAN/Enviro 200 39704 at South Shields is now for disposal.
The first Dart SLF to receive Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery here is Dart SLF 34611. MAN/ALX300 22081 is now in the training fleet and has been allocated to Sunderland. Also at Sunderland Scania/Enviro 300 Gas Bus 28017 has returned to service following repairs with 28024 now stood down for repairs.
The company Reports that MAN/Enviro 200s 39671, 39672 and 39710 are back in the main fleet at Sunderland with 39713, 39714, and 39725 now in the Reserve Fleet whilst Dart SLF 35111 is allocated to South Shields.
Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird)
On loan from Stagecoach East Scotland is Volvo B13R 54129, which has been allocated to Peterhead. It has joined 54125 from the Stagecoach East Scotland Citylink fleet, which is also at Peterhead.
Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands)
New vehicles allocated to Kirkwall are Volvo B8R/MCV 21380-388 and Optare Solo SRs 48051-059. Vehicles displaced from Kirkwall and now in the HQ Reserve Fleet are, Enviro 300 27589; Enviro 200s 36955 and 37256; Wright StreetLites 43011, 43012, and 43013; Volvo B7Rs 53254, 53293 and 53305; Volvo B9Rs 53612 and 53621; Optare Solo 47749 and Optare Solo SR 47812.
Now in the Reserve Fleet are Enviro 200MMC 26128 and Scania/Enviro 300 28644 at Inverness and Volvo B9R 53622 at Thurso. Transfers reported are Enviro 300 27809 and Enviro 200 36956 from Kirkwall to Inverness; Optare Solo 47748 from Inverness to Aviemore and Volvo B9R 53617 from Kirkwall to Thurso. Reserve Fleet vehicles now allocated to Inverness are Enviro 300 27536, Optare Solo 47566 and Optare Solo SR 47813.
Reported for disposal are Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 21205 and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 44018.
Stagecoach South
MAN/Enviro 300 training bus 22741 has been returned from Stagecoach South West, where it had been on loan.
Former Stagecoach South West Enviro 200s 36255 and 36256 have been allocated to Portsmouth. Following their transfer from Stagecoach West Scotland Enviro 200s 36701-703 have been prepared for service and allocated to Aldershot. Due to transfer from Stagecoach East Scotland are Enviro 300s 27524, 27526, and 27528.
Reserve Fleet vehicles now allocated to Guildford are Enviro 300s 27556/566/570/649/651; Enviro 200s 36022/436/840. Enviro 200MMCs 26297 and 26298 along with Dart SLF 35123 have transferred from Basingstoke to Andover. Now at Chichester are Dart SLFs 34518 and 34631 from the Reserve Fleet along with Enviro 200 36431 from Worthing and similar 36434, 36435, and 36438 from Aldershot.
A reduction in vehicle requirement here has seen a number of vehicles become depot spares (Reserve Fleet). Included are;
Portsmouth: Trident 17740, Enviro 400s 19034/039, Dart SLF 35118 and Enviro 300 27834.
Andover: Trident 18522 and Optare Solo 47036.
Winchester: Enviro 300 27775.
Guildford: Enviro 300s 27833 and 27918, Enviro 200s 36433, and 37264, and Optare Solo 47311.
Chichester: Enviro 300s 27838-844.
Aldershot: Enviro 200 36440 and MAN/Enviro 200s 39652, 39653, and 39654.
Stagecoach South East
Correction to Fleet Report 12th January 2022 - Dart SLF 34438 has transferred to Herne Bay to replace withdrawn similar 34697 (not 34696).
Vehicles sold out of this fleet are open top Trident 18477 and Dart SLF 34778.
Trident 18529 is currently being prepared for repaint here.
Stagecoach South West
MAN/Enviro 300 training bus 22741, which had been on loan here, has been returned to Stagecoach South, whilst the company also reports that Enviro 200s 36255 and 36256 (from Exeter) have also transferred to Stagecoach South.
Volvo B10M 52345 and Volvo B12B 54045 have been scrapped whilst Volvo B12Bs 54068 and 54070 are now surplus and are for disposal.
Optare Solos 47086/88 are now in the main fleet at Barnstaple whilst similar 47526 remains in the Reserve Fleet but has moved from Plymouth to Barnstaple. Dart SLF 35245 is another training bus conversion here.
Stagecoach West
The reduction in vehicle requirement at Oxford will see four Enviro 200s transferred to Banbury as replacements for the four remaining Dart SLFs there (34471/472/881/882). A charity tour is planned over several Banbury routes using one of the remaining Dart SLFs from the depot on 16th January 2022. The first fleet changes were reported on 7th January 2022 when Dart SLF 34471 was withdrawn and moved to Witney for storage with Enviro 200s 36930 and 36932 transferred from Oxford to Banbury. Enviro 200s 36769 and 36770 have transferred from Oxford to Swindon, with similar 36928 and 36929 have moved from Oxford to Stroud. Dart SLF 34472 is due to be withdrawn after 16th January 2022. Also due to transfer to Banbury from Oxford (as replacement for 34881/882) are 36931 and 36982.
In mid-December 2021, ADL Enviro 300 27701 has transferred from Gloucester to Banbury in exchange for Scania/Enviro 300 28742. Enviro 400MMCs 10686 and 87 have returned to Swindon after a short period operating back at Oxford during December 2021. Private Hire Levante 59307 at North Bristol is now in the Reserve Fleet. Dart SLF 34618 has been reinstated at Swindon.
Vehicles authorised for disposal are Trident 18090 (Gloucester); Dart SLFs 34733 and 34740 (Swindon) and 35193 (Stroud), along with Optare Solo 47451 (Reserve Fleet, Witney). Withdrawn vehicles sold are Trident 18085, Enviro 200 37010 and Optare Solos 47241, 47244 and 47556.
Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery is Scania/Enviro 400 15758.

Stagecoach West Scotland
New BYD/Enviro 200EVs for Kilmarnock, 30001-010, are confirmed as registered LC71KXP/R/S/T/U/ V/W/X/Y/Z, with 30011-15 due for delivery to be registered LC71KYA/B/E/F/G.
Enviro 300s 27214, 27217, and 27218 are reported back in the main fleet at Cumbernauld with 27212, 27221, and 27223 now stood down for repairs. Reserve Fleet Scania/Enviro 300 28705 is on loan from Kilmarnock to Dumfries whilst Reserve Fleet Enviro 300 27720 is on loan from Ayr to Ardrossan. Volvo B13R 54103 is another of the type to transfer from Stagecoach East Scotland and is being prepared for service. It will be allocated to Dumfries.
Stagecoach Yorkshire
A further Enviro 400 from Stagecoach Manchester to enter service here at Ecclesfield is 19222, whilst former Stagecoach West Scotland MAN/Enviro 300 24183, 24184, 24186, and 24187 had entered service at Rawmarsh by the closing days of 2021.
