Arriva Midlands

Optare Solo 2503 has transferred from Hinckley to Telford, displacing Scania Omnilink 3508 to Arriva Shires & Essex (at Aylesbury).

Transferred in from Arriva London is ADL Enviro 200 ENL21, now numbered T021 as a driver trainer at Telford.

Now withdrawn at Thurmaston is VDL DB250/Wright Pulsar Gemini 4774.

Recently repainted into ‘journey mark’ livery are VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2s 3744 and 3746 at Derby, and 3764 at Thurmaston, as well as Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 4204 at Derby.

Cardiff Bus

Currently in use at the Chaserider operation at Cannock are Optare Metrocitys 149 and 151, pending them receiving a repaint and up-seating from Airport specification.

Diamond Bus

On loan at Tividale depot from Wrightbus are Wright Streetlites SK68TXN and SK68TXO.

First Midlands

Correcting a previous report, Enviro 400 33725 has remained at First South Yorkshire Olive Grove depot. The other four of the type transferred to Leicester saw a few days in public service, and have now settled in on Amazon services operating from Coventry.

Wright Streetdeck 6377 (NK70BYV) recently spent a period on loan at **Oxford Bus Company**, and is pictured in Oxford on 18th January 2022. It returned home to the North East at the end of January. © Tony Gaze.

Adding to a previous report, Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 77 has passed to Nottingham Coaches.

National Express West Midlands

Transferred from Pensnett to Wolverhampton is ADL Enviro 200 752, with 837 heading in the opposite direction. Transferred from Wolverhampton to Coventry is ADL Enviro 200 839, whilst Volvo B7TL/ALX400 4419 is withdrawn at Coventry. Dennis Trident 4444 from Wolverhampton has been withdrawn, and is being used as a mechanical donor for long absent 4474 at Birmingham Central. ADL Enviro 400 MMC 6766 has been sent for scrap, after being subject to an arson attack some time ago.

Former Hybrid ADL Enviro 400 5404 is the next receiving a conversion to straight diesel at East Yorkshire’s Scarborough depot.

Enviro 400 MMC 6110 is the first to receive a fresh repaint into the crimson scheme, which is being undertaken at Plaxton’s Anston facility. It is pictured prior to its repaint below.

South Staffs Coach Hire

Volvo B7TL/ALX400 SGZ3538 (new as YU52VYE) has been sold to Ridleys Coaches. Transbus Enviro 300 GM03BUZ has been sent for scrap.

Scania/Enviro 400 MMCs 15291-294 have now transferred from Fenstaton to Cambridge. Of these, 15292 is pictured on 25th January 2022. © Luke Fisher.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery here are Trident/Plaxton President 18054 and Enviro 300 27638.

Mansfield allocated Trident/ALX400 18316 has been noted at Lincoln depot over the past few weeks. It is receiving a new floor, and it is expected it may be repainted whilst there. Of note recently repainted Dart SLF 34426 has still yet to reenter service, whilst Enviro 200 36706 remains in a rubbed down condition at Lincoln depot. At Hull depot, we understand Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 21263 is the process of being repainted.

A couple of short terms captured here recently. Hull allocated MAN/Enviro 300 24197 (left) is pictured outside Grimsby depot on 19th January 2022, whilst on loan there (it also spent a period at Skegness whilst away). Enviro 400 MMCs 10576 and 10577 have transferred to Chester, from Gillmoss.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands)

Volvo B11Rs 54301-304/309 are now understood to be here, with 54309 parked at Thurso depot and an unidentified vehicle parked at Tain depot.

Stagecoach South East

Now back in service here, after sustaining accident damage in November 2021, is Scania/Enviro 400 15500.

Currently being repainted are Scania/Enviro 400s 15561 and 15904.

Stagecoach South West

Stagecoach West

The latest repaint here into Stagecoach ‘Distance’ livery is Scania/Enviro 400 15764. Oxford allocated Enviro 400 Hybrid 12012 has been noted at Bristol, but it is not none yet if this is for repaint.

Now in service at Stroud are Enviro 200s 36928 and 36929.

Trentbarton ‘the Threes’ Optare Versa 816 is off awaiting a new engine - it has been out of service since November 2021.

Optare Solo 462 is currently out of service following an RTC.
