Delaine Buses

Due imminently is ADL Enviro 200MMC 170 (AD22DBL). Unusually for this operator it had not been delivered in time to enter service on
March 1st 2022 when the new ‘22’ plate registrations were introduced.

Volvo B7TL/East Lancs Vyking 135 was away at Fowlers Coaches in early March 2022 for repairs, along with similar and smoke-damaged 140.

East Yorkshire

Fleet changes planned to take effect from 1st April 2022 will see Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urbans 346, 347, and 348 being relicensed at Hull and Enviro 200s 284 and 286 being relicensed at Scarborough, with Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse-Geminis 698 and 699 transferring from Hull to Scarborough. Heritage fleet Leyland Titan 202 is due to be delicensed from the end of March 2022.

Megabus/Joint Venture

Volvo B11Rs 54259/261/262 are now allocated to Cumbernauld (Stagecoach West Scotland), whilst Van Hool ‘Sleeper’ coaches 50305/310/311 currently delicensed for repairs are not expected to re-enter service at Cumbernauld.

Reserve Fleet Van Hool Astromega with Stagecoach East Scotland, 50266, has returned to main fleet service at Perth with 50264 stood down for repairs.

Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire

Reserve Fleet Optare Versa 25219 was returned to Carlisle in early March 2022 following an extended period being stored at Stagecoach West Scotland’s Cumbernauld depot.

Open Top Trident 17490 is now in the Strategic Reserve Fleet, from West Cumbria whilst reserve Fleet Enviro 300 27748 has returned to the operational fleet at West Cumbria.

Training bus Dart SLF 34712 is allocated to Morecambe whilst Optare Versa training bus 25302 is now reported by the company as being allocated to West Cumbria.

Stagecoach East

Next in line for repaint into ‘Local’ livery are Enviro 400 19597 and Enviro 36041.

Enviro 400s 19586/588/589/590/593 were all transferred from Cambridge to Bedford at the beginning of March 2022. This leaves just four standard Enviro 400 models now at on the books at Cambridge - 19585/591/592 along with early former Stagecoach Manchester example 19164.

‘Ting’-branded Optare Solo SR 48035 was transferred to the Reserve Fleet in February 2022 being replaced in the main ‘Ting’ DRT fleet at Fenstanton by Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 44020.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Plaxton President-bodied Trident 18029 has been severely damaged after hitting a low bridge.

The withdrawal of Dart SLFs 34851 and 35139 has been authorised and they are now both for disposal. MAN/Enviro 300 22575 is now part of the training fleet and is allocated to Hull.

Reserve Fleet Trident 18055 (at Lincoln) and Enviro 200 37200 (at Hull) have transferred to the main fleet with Enviro 400 19301 (at Lincoln) and MAN/Enviro 200 39678 (at Hull) moving into the Reserve Fleet.

Volvo B7TL/East Lancs Vyking 16913 re-entered service at Scunthorpe on 3rd March, having been out of traffic since November 2021.

Reported repaints into ‘Local’ Livery are Trident 18316, Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urbans 21267 and 21270, and Enviro 300 27633. Next in line for repaint at Lincoln depot is Enviro 200 36706.

Stagecoach East Scotland

Volvo B5LH 13052 has returned to service at Arbroath but similar 13054 is away at Ferrymill Motors for repairs, whilst Enviro 400 19151 is at BusTech for repairs. Optare Solo SR 47870 has also been stood down at Arbroath for long term repairs. At Perth Enviro 27606 is now in the Reserve Fleet.

Stagecoach London

A further Scania OmniCity for open top conversion is 15116, whilst similar 15002 is currently out of use with collision damage.

Enviro 400MMC Smart Hybrid 11033 has been transferred from West Ham to Rainham and Enviro 200 36374 transferred from Bromley to Catford.

Stagecoach Manchester

A change in plan for the training fleet has seen MAN/Enviro 300 22586 taken out of service at Wigan and earmarked for training conversion. 22583 has returned to service at Wigan with 22582 now in the Reserve Fleet. Also now in the Reserve Fleet, from Wigan, is 22587.

Sold to PVS (dealer) is Optare Solo 47670.

Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire

MAN/ALX 300 training buses 22077 and 22079 are currently stored here whilst MAN/Enviro 300 training bus 24153 has been allocated to Chester.

Transfers from Birkenhead to Preston are of Enviro 300s 27890 and 27892. Now in the main fleet, from Reserve, at Gilmoss is Optare Solo 47335, which has replaced 47331.

Stagecoach Midlands

Back at Northampton in early March 2022 following repaint into ‘Local’ livery was Enviro 200 37042.

Stagecoach North East

Three more Dart SLFs have been transferred from Stagecoach Yorkshire - 35236, 35261 and 35263 and are currently at South Shields (35236 and 35263) and Hartlepool (35261), it is unclear at present whether they are for service or for component recovery.

Now for disposal here are MAN/ALX300 22346 and MAN/Enviro 200s 39659 and 39674 whilst similar 39718 has been sold to Alpha Recovery.

At Slatyford MAN/ALX300s 22080, 22408, and 22409 are back in the main fleet with 22410, 22424, and 22428 moving to the Reserve Fleet. Scania/Enviro 300 (Gas) 28024 has returned to service at Sunderland following repairs with Enviro 200 36978 and Enviro 300 27735 from Sunderland now out of service for repairs.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird)

Following the return to service at Elgin of Volvo B11Rs 54825 and 54831 after repairs at Ferrymill Motors, Volvo B9R 53610 is now in the Reserve Fleet whilst 53626 is for disposal. Also for disposal is 53609 with 53645 moving from Aberdeen to the Strategic Reserve Fleet at Elgin.
Further BYD/Enviro 400City EVs delivered are 14044/045/047.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands)

Volvo B11R 54310 is now officially allocated to Thurso whilst Volvo B9R 53617 has been reported by the company as being transferred to Stagecoach East Scotland.

Enviro 300 27586 is now in the Reserve Fleet (from Skye) whilst similar 27805 has transferred from the Reserve Fleet and is now allocated to Inverness. A swap of Optare Solos has seen 47246 transferred from the Reserve Fleet to Inverness with 47252 moving from Inverness to Reserve.

Stagecoach South

Vehicles stood down for long term maintenance/repairs are Enviro 400 19160, Trident 18526 and Enviro 200MMC 37415. Optare Solo 47526 from Aldershot is out of use with fire damage and has been replaced at Aldershot with Enviro 200 36440 from the Reserve Fleet. Reserve Fleet 36435 is now at Aldershot.

11.8m Enviro 200MMC 26150 has moved from Portsmouth to Basingstoke in exchange for 26295. Not previously reported by us is the allocation
of Enviro 300s 27657/658/836/837; Enviro 200 37264 and Enviro 200MMC 37409 to the main fleet at Guildford with Dart SLF 35118; Enviro 200s 36024/025/255 and Enviro 300 27775 in the main fleet at Andover.

For transfer here from Stagecoach West Scotland are Enviro 200s 36727-733.

Stagecoach South East

Six new 11.8m Enviro 200MMCs, 26354-359 (YX22OHL/N/O/P/R/S), are due here during March 2022 for use on the Canterbury Park & Ride service. They are due to replace Enviro 300s 27919-924, of which 27920 is painted in ‘Local’ colours and the other five are in Canterbury Park & Ride livery.

Optare Solo 47682 from Ashford is now in the Reserve Fleet whilst Reserve Fleet Dart SLF 34542 has transferred to the main fleet at Dover. Now back in service at Eastbourne is Enviro 300 27891, with Dart SLF 34650 returning to service at Dover.

Sold to A H Hardwick (dealer) are Dart SLFs 34541, 34657 and 34778 along with Optare Solos 47661 and 47676.

Latest repaints into ‘Local’ livery are Scania OmniCity 15113 and 15180, Scania/Enviro 400 15496, and Enviro 200 36891.

Stagecoach West

Now in the Reserve Fleet is Optare Solo 47621 at Cheltenham.

A clear out of withdrawn vehicles has seen the disposal of Trident 18090, MAN/ Enviro 200s 39683/685/689 and Dart SLFs 34471/472/832 and 35212.

The latest reported repaint into ‘Local’ livery here is Enviro 200 36764, with similar Banbury allocated 36761 expected to be the next to be repainted.

Transferred here from Stagecoach West Scotland are Enviro 200s 36734-738.

Stagecoach West Scotland

Enviro 200s 36734-738 have left this fleet and transferred to Stagecoach West, and similar 36727-733 have transferred to Stagecoach South. They have been replaced at Ayr with Enviro 200MMCs 37482-496 transferred from Kilmarnock where they had been displaced by BYD/E200MMC EVs 30000-015.

The final two operational Optare Versas, 25244 and 25245, which are owned by Dumfries & Galloway Council have been stood down. The company has now confirmed the transfer of Optare Solo 47651 from Stagecoach Midlands, which is due to enter service at Ardrossan.

Vehicle for disposal are Enviro 300s 27513/514, Optare Solo 47462 and Volvo B7R 53324.

Volvo B13Rs 54102/103/105 have been allocated to Dumfries, displacing Volvo B11Rs 54258 and 54260 to the Reserve Fleet, whilst Reserve Fleet Volvo B9R 53723 is now part of the main Arran fleet.

Reserve Fleet Enviro 200s from Kilmarnock transferred to the main fleet are 36140/141/705 and 37248 (now at Dumfries) and 37247 (now at Stranraer). Now in the Reserve Fleet are 36741-744 at Ayr and 36331/337 at Dumfries. Enviro 27720 is now formally allocated to Ardrossan. Enviro 300 27716, which is being used as a paint float vehicle, has transferred from Cumbernauld to Ayr. Enviro 400MMCs 10513 and 10521 are being prepared for allocation to Ayr and 10517 for allocation to Ardrossan whilst Volvo B9Rs 53732/736/737 are for Stranraer.

Stagecoach Yorkshire

Three more Dart SLFs have transferred to Stagecoach North East - 35236, 35261 and 35263.
