Bromley Bus Preservation Group

Recently acquired here are Trident/Plaxton President LK03CFG from Nu-Ventre, DAF DB250/Optare Spectra R2NEG from Midland Classic, along with Dart MPD VX04ULT, Enviro 200s YX58DVA and LJ07ECW, Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President LK54FWJ, and Trident/ALX400s V221MEV and LY02OBK.

Of note is that LK03CFG was the last remaining Trident/Plaxton President in the Nu-Ventre fleet, and DAF DB250 Optare Spectra R2NEG was the first low floor double decker vehicle to operate with Midland Classic.


Centrebus

Now here from Chartwell Coach Sales are Enviro 200s MX14 FUJ/FUM/FUO. They previously were used on services at Glasgow airport, and have been converted to single door. It is expected they will be used at Luton depot.

Enviro 200 509 is due to enter service at Grantham, having transferred there along with Optare Solos 303 and 307. Volvo B7TL/President 932 is now on loan at Grantham from Leicester.


East Yorkshire

Now returned to service at Withernsea is Volvo B5TL/MCV Evoseti 801, which means all the EastRider examples are now back in service after their refurbishments.

Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 9344 continues to undergo repaint and conversion to a training vehicle. Volvo B8RLE/MCV Evolution 394 is now in the bodyshop in preparation for repaint following refurbishment, with Enviro 200 286 now in the paint shop.

Lothian Buses

Further to our coverage of the new Volvo B5TL/Enviro 400 MMCs on delivery here, we understand a total of 58 (fleet numbers 601-658) are due.


Metrobus

Transferred out of this fleet to Go North East are Scania Omnicity 6513 and Scania N94UB/East Lancs Esteem 6615. They are expected to be on a short term loan there.


Seven Sisters Bus & Coach

AEC Regal III Burlingham DFK214 has now arrived here from the Netherlands, having previously carried an unknown Dutch registration.


Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire

The latest repaint here into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery is Dart SLF 35248, which is of note is due to become a driver training vehicle.

Due to transfer from Carlisle to Morecambe are Optare Solo SRs 47963/964/965, with Optare Solos 47729/730 moving from Morecambe to West Cumbria, and Enviro 300 27768 moving from Carlisle to West Cumbria.

Now withdrawn here are Open Top Trident/ALX400s 17277 and 17495. Similar 17217 has been transferred from Carlisle to West Cumbria, and along with Open Top Trident/Plaxton President 17692 at Carlisle are now back in service.

Now transferred here from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire are MAN/Enviro 300s 24119, 24123, 24124 and 24125. Similar 24119 is also expected to be moving.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Due to transfer from Mansfield to the Skegness reserve fleet are Dart SLF 34570, with similar 34702 and 35136 expected to move from Gainsborough to Mansfield. Also, now in service at Hull is MAN/Enviro 200 39678. It is also expected a number of decommissioned vehicles here due to be returned to service this week.

The open top ‘Skegness Seasiders’ are due to start seeing use from today, 29th March, with Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse-Geminis 16964/966, Trident/ALX400s 17013/015/016/673/676-678 and 18473, and Enviro 400 19169 being reinstated. Currently at Skegness are Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Geminis 16943, from Lincoln, and 16962, from Grimsby.

The latest repaint here, into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery, is Enviro 200 36513.

Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire

Enviro 300s 27896 and 27903 have now transferred from Preston to Rock Ferry, with similar 27267 and 27268 moving from Rock Ferry to Preston.

Now transferred to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire are MAN/Enviro 300s 24119/123-125, with similar 24119 due to move imminently.


Stagecoach Midlands

Due to transfer from Rugby to Northampton are Enviro 200s 36948-952, with Enviro 200s 37050/055/056/064/072 due to move from Northampton to Rugby. The reason behind this move is because 36948-952 have Euro 6 engines (whereas 37050/055/056/064/072 have Euro 5 engines), and will see use on the Northampton-Leicester X7 which run into the Leicester Low Emission Zone. As a result the Scania/Enviro 300s used on the ‘X7’ will be displaced.

Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery are Enviro 200s 36950 and 36952.

Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 80078-082 (BJ11 DSX/DTZ/DZZ/EBL/EAO), which had been on loan here are due to be returned to Ensign Bus. They are being replaced by ex Lothian Buses Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Geminis SK07 CAX/CCA/CBO/CBU/CBV, which fleet numbers yet to be announced.

Following the return of school services, Nuneaton allocated Enviro 200s 37109, 37111 and 37112 are now back in service from ‘Covid reserve’. MAN/Enviro 300 22834 has now entered service at Kettering.

Of note was that an electric vehicle, Yutong E12 YD21NFL, spent a day on loan recently at Nuneaton depot for evaluation purposes. It has been announced that all buses operating in Coventry will be electric by 2025.

Stagecoach Oxfordshire

The three MAN/Enviro 200s which transferred into this fleet in January 2021, 39683/685/699, are due to be replaced. Dart SLF 34618 and Enviro 200s 36079/080 from Stagecoach West are due to replace these, with 36079 and 36080 already having transferred.

Stagecoach South

The ‘Centre Shuttle’ service in Basingstoke will no longer operate after Saturday 3rd April 2021, with alternative services being provided. As a result, the pair of ‘Centre Shuttle’ branded Enviro 200s are in the process of being repainted. Enviro 200 37292 has already been repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery, with 37291 due to follow.


Stagecoach South East

Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery is Scania/Enviro 400 15441, along with former Dover Park & Ride Enviro 400 10065.

Stagecoach West Scotland

The latest repaints reported here are of Trident/ALX400s 18334/374, Scania Enviro 300 28697 and Optare Solo 47627, all into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery. Optare Solo EVs 48900-905 into Stagecoach ‘Specialist’ livery, and new recipients of Stagecoach ‘Distance’ livery are Van Hool Astromegas 50280/282-284.

Brand new loan Optare Solos 48044 and 48045 carry the council ‘SWTrans’ livery, and are expected to be allocated to the Whithorn outstation of Stranraer depot. Former Stagecoach London Enviro 200 36331 has joined similar 36332 and 36337 in service from Dumfries depot.

Scania Enviro 300s 28689-692 have all received Euro 6 conversions, with similar 28693 and 28694 expected to follow in due course.
