Brylaine Travel

The Lincolnshire operator has undertaken repair work on Optare Solo AE06TWU (former Stagecoach East 47353), and it will shortly join the operational fleet.

East Yorkshire

Now part of this fleet, and currently being prepared for service, is Volvo B5TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini KD17TAU (former Dublin Mini Coaches 171-D-25062). This has joined this fleet from Ensign Bus.

Enviro 200 286 is now in the process of being repainted into East Yorkshire livery, with similar 285 now in the body shop at Hull depot. Volvo B8RLE/MCV Evolution 394 is also now in the paint shop.

Volvo B9R/Caetano Levante 86 has now been returned to Hull depot following repaint into ‘Coaching’ livery. Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 9344 is now completed, ready to join the training fleet.

Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President 9917, formerly part of the training fleet, is now delicensed.

Transferred out of this fleet, to Go North East, are Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urbans 369-372.

First Essex

First West of England

Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 37633 has become the latest recipient of ‘Bath City’ livery, whilst similar 37587 and 37590 have been repainted into the blue based ‘Bristol Citylines’ livery.


Megabus/Scottish Citylink

Volvo B11RLE/Plaxton Panoramas 50445-451 have all entered service from Stagecoach East Scotland’s Perth depot, with 50452-454 to follow.

Megabus services re-commenced on 29th March 2021 with Volvo B11R 54610 going on loan to MP Travel and similar 54266/267 allocated to Stagecoach East Midlands at Hull.


National Express West Midlands

Recent transfers have seen Trident/ALX400 4327 move from Pensnett to Wolverhampton, with similar 4360 moving from Pensnett to Walsall. Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 2136 and 2137 have been reallocated from Wolverhampton to Pensnett, whilst Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 4507 moving from Acocks Green to West Bromwich. Wright Streetdecks 3301-05 have now entered service at Walsall, primarily seeing use on school services.

Stagecoach Cumbria & South Lancashire

Now transferred here from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire is MAN/Enviro 300 24119.


Stagecoach East

It has been confirmed that Enviro 200 36320 is not due here from Stagecoach London and was officially reported in error. The other six vehicles due, 36306-308/321-323, will be allocated to Cambridge for use on a new contract. Of these 36321, repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery arrived at Bedford depot on 13th March 2021.

The company has reported that withdrawn Dart SLF 34534 will be going to Cambridgeshire Police.

Now back in the operational fleet at Bedford are Dart SLFs 34538 and 34830 along with Enviro 200s 36041, 36063 and 36065.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Now officially allocated to Skegness, but operating from the Long Sutton outstation, are Scania/Enviro 400s 15612/614-620/652/654/808-811 and Enviro 300s 27794/879. As previously reported, the Long Sutton operations have been transferred from the Go West Travel Limited licence to the Lincolnshire Road Car Company Limited licence.

In early March, Dart SLFs 34570 and 35135 transferred from Skegness to the Reserve Fleet at Mansfield and were briefly replaced in the main fleet at Skegness by 35132 and 35144 from the Reserve Fleet there. By the end of March, 34570 was officially back at Skegness and in the Seasonal Reserve Fleet along with Dart SLFs 35132/144 and Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urbans 21214/216.

Transferred from Scunthorpe to Gainsborough has been Dart SLF 34530 which will displace similar 34702, which will be transferred from Gainsborough to Mansfield. Dart SLF 35136 has moved from Skegness to Mansfield, whilst reserve fleet Dart SLF 34572 has moved to the main fleet at Scunthorpe.

Decommissioned vehicles returned to operational use on March 29th were Dart SLFs 35141 to the Reserve Fleet at Worksop, 35145 at Scunthorpe, Enviro 200s 36449/453/454/510/513-520 at Mansfield, and Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 16939 at Skegness.

A long-distance transfer here is MAN/Enviro 300 22869 from Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands), which we understand is currently at Hull.

Stagecoach East Scotland

New ADL Enviro 400MMC SmartHybrids 11560 and 11561 entering service at Aberhill have allowed Enviro 400MMCs 11185 and 11186 to transfer to Perth.

Volvo B13Rs 54113/114 have been allocated to Aberhill as replacements for Volvo B9R 53738 which is at HJS in Germany for modifications, and Volvo B11R 53810 which is undergoing refurbishment.

Volvo B13Rs 54102/103 have returned here after loan to Stagecoach North Scotland and are now in the Reserve Fleet at Aberhill.


Stagecoach London

Following the return to schools from 8th March 2021 the eight Optare Solo SRs, on loan here from Stagecoach East are allocated to Barking (48025/031), Bromley (48023/032/035), Kangley Bridge Road (48033/034), and Romford (48024).

Enviro 400 19000 has been donated to the London Transport Museum.

Former Optare Versa training vehicle 25303 has transferred to one of the Scottish operations - full details to be confirmed.


Stagecoach Manchester

Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery is Enviro 400 Hybrid 12020.


Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire

Further moves previously not reported, are of Enviro 300s 27262 and 27263 from Rock Ferry to Preston.

Transferred to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire is MAN/Enviro 300 24119.


Stagecoach Midlands

Scania Omnidekka 15404 has been returned to service at Kettering following repairs. Now stood down for major repairs are Dart SLF 35219 from Kettering, and Trident/ALX400 18152 from Northampton.

Now sold out of this fleet to Ensign Bus is Trident/ALX400 18157.


Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands)

Leaving this fleet for Stagecoach East Midlands is MAN/Enviro 300 22869.


Stagecoach Oxfordshire

Now in service at Banbury depot is Enviro 200 36080, whilst recently transferred from Stagecoach West Dart SLF 34618 is now parked at Oxford depot.

Stagecoach South

Now repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery is Portsmouth allocated Enviro 400 19090, which has also gained the cherished registration plate 405 DCD.


Stagecoach South East

Enviro 400s 10063, 10064 and 10066 have also now been repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery, and have also been internally refurbished with blue e-leather seat covers.

Now in services from Dover depot are Enviro 400 10065 and 19016, Enviro 400 MMC Smart Hybrids 11556-558, Scania/Enviro 400s 15438/439/441/480/493/495, Enviro 300 27891, Optare Solos 47066/118/164/369, and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 44020.

Stagecoach South Wales

No longer part of this fleet are two of the Welsh Government-owned Volvo B8RLE/MCV Evoras 21351 and 21352, which are have now been placed with Newport Transport where they are numbered 351 and 352.


Stagecoach South West

Now allocated to Barnstaple is former Stagecoach West Optare Solo 47355. Transferred from Exeter to Plymouth are Enviro 400 19324 and Enviro 200 37136, whilst Dart SLF 34687 has been returned to the operational fleet at Exeter, after transferring from Barnstaple.


Stagecoach West

Now allocated to Swindon are 8.9m Enviro 200s 36376/378/379/380. 36376, 36378, and 36379 had previously been on loan to Stagecoach London, whilst 36380 is a transfer from Gloucester.

Further recipients of the Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery here are Enviro 200s 36096 and Scania/Enviro 300 28682. Trident/ALX400 18421 has now been repainted into Stagecoach ‘Specialist’ livery.

Now sold out of this fleet is Volvo B10M training coach 52381.

As reported above, Dart SLF 34618 was moved from Swindon depot, where it had been decommissioned, to Stagecoach Oxfordshire in mid-March 2021 and was followed at the end of March by short Enviro 200s 36079/80.
