Brighton & Hove

A number of vehicles have been decommissioned here following service reductions in place due to the current lockdown. These are; Mercedes-Benz Citaros 105-114/119-130, Volvo B5LH/Wright Eclipse-Geminis 440/441/443/446-449, Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Geminis 453/454/457/458/461/463/469, Scania N94UD/Omnidekkas 665/667-670, and Scania N270UD/Omnidekkas 671-673/682. This now means all of the company’s fleet of Citaros is out of service.

Also delicensed here is Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 472, which is undergoing repairs.

Now transferred to Plymouth Citybus are Scania N94UD/Omnidekkas 631, 642, 644, 646 and 647. This just leaves similar 662 to transfer to them.

Brighton Horizon Coaches

Volvo B10M/Plaxton Excalibur K123BUS (P741YUM) has been repainted white, whilst Volvo B9R/Caetano Levante FJ11GKF has gained Brighton Horizon logos.


East Yorkshire

The four Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Geminis in the process of transferring here from Go North East (their 6118-21) are expected to be numbered 794-797 in the East Yorkshire fleet. It is planned for them to be repainted prior to entering traffic. Former 6118 and 6119 are currently delicensed at Hull.

Previously reported as delicensed, Volvo B7TL/Plaxton Presidents 671 and 673 have moved on loan to Go North East. Similar 672 has transferred to Bridlington where it has entered traffic, releasing 678 which has been delicensed.

Megabus

Two Scania/Caetano Levante coaches from the Stagecoach West fleet were noted in use on Rail Replacement services last week. 59227 and 59228, which are allocated to North Bristol were in use between Weston Super Mare and Taunton on 27th January, covering for Great Western Railway services.


Metrobus

Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 6012 is currently in use as a mobile vaccination centre, with it being used to serve harder to reach communities across Surrey and West Sussex.

National Express West Midlands

A number of vehicles from this fleet have been sold. Volvo B10L/Alexander Belfasts 1501 and 1508, and Dennis Trident/ALX400s 4326, 4353, 4361, 4371, 4376 and 4378, have all been sold for scrap. Volvo B10L/Alexander Belfast 1509 has been sold into preservation.


Stagecoach East

With Busway service reductions coming into force from the end of January 2021, just one double deck vehicle remains in service from Fenstanton depot. This is Scania/Enviro 400MMC 15291, which is generally seeing use on non-Busway services. The twelve Enviro 400XLB tri-axle vehicles are all out of use with 13901-911 parked up and 13912 remaining away at ADL Harlow for major roof repairs.


Stagecoach East Midlands

Further vehicles have now been delicensed here, from Gainsborough these are Dart SLFs 34702/848 and 35128.


Stagecoach East Scotland

Volvo B7R/Plaxton Profile 53305 has transferred to Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands). It had been in use with the Rennies fleet here.


Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire

Enviro 300 27900 has been transferred from Preston to Rock Ferry.

Now working out of Worthing depot, from Portsmouth, are Enviro 200 MMCs 26146-155.


Trustybus

Now here from First Cymru is Optare Solo WX05RUO. It joins similar WX05RUC, both of which have entered traffic in their former First ‘Barbie’ livery.


Wellglade Group

Notts & Derby Enviro 400s 12 and 13 have now been repainted into the new Notts & Derby livery. Now sold from this fleet are Volvo B7TL/Plaxton Presidents 30-32 which have gone to Herbert’s Travel of Bedford.

Trent Barton Optare Versa 848 now carries Mango livery.
