The single deckers are expected to either be permanent transfers or purely helping out as additional capacity for regular services. All the single deckers are at Southampton except 44509 which is at Weymouth.

We understand that Volvo B7TL/East Lancs Vyking 16902/904-906/908/909/912 have now been given authorisation to be scrapped. All of these remain parked up at Scunthorpe, most of them appear to have become parts donors for the remaining ‘Vykings’ in the fleet (16907/910/913-920). Stagecoach had suggested they would offer a number of Vykings for preservation, however this appears to have been deferred for the time being (probably in connection with some examples remaining in service).
