From the team at Fleet Report, we would like to wish you all a Happy New Year!

We will also take this opportunity to thank all of you who have made use of this site of this in its first few weeks, and a further thanks to those of you who have made contributions. Your help has been extraordinary!

A final thanks to Steven Knight, who has assisted in setting this site up. We wish him all the best as he steps down from most of his enthusiast work that he has provided over the years.

Ten of the eleven Enviro 200s that had been on loan to Stagecoach London had returned here by 23rd December 2020 with 36012/041-044/060-064 all being parked at Bedford depot. Update: This left just 36065 on loan, however this has since been returned to Bedford.

Volvo B9R 53704, which had been on loan here from Stagecoach South East, has formally been transferred and will head to Scotland when its loan period here ends.

Enviro 400 19704 has transferred from Peterborough to Bedford in exchange for former Norfolk Green example 10055.

Enviro 400s LK08DXU and LK08DXV, received here on loan from Ensign Bus shortly before Christmas have been given temporary fleet numbers 80074 and 80075. They have replaced similar SN13CHH and SN13CHK, which were also carrying fleet numbers 80074 and 80075, which have been returned to Ensign Bus.

The five Gold spec Scania/Enviro 400s on loan at Northampton from Stagecoach West, 15857/858/968-970, are being returned to Swindon with four of these leaving Northampton on 30th December 2020. The remaining vehicle will follow after servicing. These are being replaced at Northampton by Canterbury Park & Ride liveried Enviro 400s 10063-066 on loan (again) from Stagecoach South East.

Now at Kettering, and we understand being prepared for service, is former Stagecoach East Dart SLF 34422, which had latterly been stored at Rugby.

Update: Further to the information above above hire in Enviro 400s from Ensign Bus, a further Enviro 400 has now been placed on to loan to Northampton from Ensign. This is LK08NVL, which has been given the temporary fleet number 80073 (which was the fleet number given to previous hire in SN13CHC).

Stagecoach Oxfordshire

Following the placing of London, along with large parts of Southern and Eastern England, into the Government’s Covid Tier 4, the company announced on 22nd December 2020 that it would be temporarily suspending its Oxford Tube service after operation on 24th December 2020.

Stagecoach South East

We have received a report that Enviro 400s 10063-066 have gone back on loan to Stagecoach Midlands at their Northampton depot, however it appears these have yet to enter traffic there.

In relation to the above, because of the Canterbury Park and Ride being suspended Enviro 300s 27919-924 have now been placed in reserve.

The company has confirmed that four of the Volvo B9R/Elite coaches here, 53702/704/705/716, are being transferred to Scotland. We await confirmation on which area they will be allocated to. 53702/716 moved north before Christmas whilst 53704 remains on loan to Stagecoach East at Bedford and will transfer north at the end of the loan period. The transfers will leave just three examples of the type here - 53703/706/708.

The current position with vehicles in the new liveries at Stagecoach South East is as follow;

  • ADL Enviro 400 MMC: 10705/709/711/713/717/718.

  • Scania N25OUD Enviro 400 MMC: 15272/276/278/279/280/283/286/287/289/290/329.

  • Mercedes Sprinter Van: 59617.

Except where stated, all vehicles listed are in ‘Local’ livery.

The enforced closure of Dover Port and the Channel Tunnel just before Christmas 2020 caused severe disruption to bus services in the area. Stagecoach South East stated that all buses had left depots as planned on 23rd December but there were significant delays to routes in Dover, Folkestone, Ashford and Manston. Large numbers of lorries had resulted in may roads being completely blocked whilst police were also dealing with unrest by drivers of lorries that had been prevented from making the crossing over several days.

Update: Further repaints here are of Dover allocated Scania Enviro 400 15495 and Optare Solo 47373 (the list above has been amended to reflect this). Reallocated from operational to reserve fleet at Folkestone is Scania Enviro 400 15481.
